Fortunately, I decided to venture down a search into the more local small businesses and came upon this cool old school & quirky shop. I think the gentleman's name was Jim. Older dude that could pass as your nerdy techy friend who's probably collected every tech gadget since the original Tron came out. Told him what I was looking for but I gradually got discouraged as all he was showing me were the bigger style bigger sound units that are common for home systems. But, alas! With a little patience we revealed a new treasure: smaller desk top speakers! Minor speaker mesh stains on the front but super decent with a little TLC. He was super friendly and chill, even making an effort to find parts that could potentially be missing from this set (like compatible power cord). It also came with an amp box that I've got sitting below my desk table, which was a nice surprise (I keep it plugged in for the deeper sounds or just unplugged for more "regular(?)" crispy audio). All that for a really awesome deal; I think it was something like $15-30 or something crazy like that. Good shit, dude! Thank you. If you're looking for small speakers, I probably snagged the last set but I definitely recommend this place for any help with acheiving 2 things at once: reusing/upcycling any sort of old working electronics and supporting a damn good local friendly small business.

I came to Best Buy on Sunday 9/20/2026 when the charger to my grad school laptop stopped charging…read more I brought in the laptop and charger after trying different outlets and switching the cord and charging ports. The Geek Squad advisor said I needed a different charger and directed me to a salesperson who said I should get a cord with different port adapters ($59). Fast forward ~2 hours later when I realize that NONE of the adapters fit my laptop. I was SO frustrated about having to go back and get another charger. When I returned and explained the problem, i immediately went from being frustrated to relieved thanks to the extremely empathetic and knowledgeable sales person. He understood my frustration of not being able to have a working laptop for school and quickly realized that I was given that charger by mistake. Though he was certain they had the correct charger, he checked in with one of the service advisors to ensure it was available AND worked properly. Since the correct charger cost less than the one I had initially purchased, not only did they do a return exchange but also refunded me $30 back! Most importantly, the charger works and I don't have to worry about my computer dying when I'm trying to study or take an exam. Thank you Best Buy for helping me and ensuring that my computer dying is not one of my many grad school worries! While I hope I don't have to come back in the near future (as my charger will work properly), I know where they are and that they will take care of any problem I run into with my computer.

What good is an installation if your TV is not connected to your internet service. I was TOLD this connection /service is an additional charge. I had an installer tell me that if I gave him $40.00 cash - he would connect my internet & I avoid the $100.00 +. this is extortion! BE WARE OF THE INSTALLATION SERVICE.
