Last night our wireless Internet cube just stopped functioning…read more
Rob called Verizon and the 24 hit customer service techs, we closed....
So he took the box into the store, not knowing what he should do.
Mary at the counter was being a customer, when she saw him walk in with the Internet box. She stopped being the customer, only to didn't start screaming at Rob, saying why are you bringing that into the store. We didn't take this heat. You need to contact customer service and they mail you a new one and you can return the old one.
Rob looked at her and said, sarcastic to her, well hello, glad you came in today, how can I help you.
Mary then got really shitty with him and said just cash customer service. By that point he was already on the phone calling customer service.
Mary went back to helping the customer and when the customer left, Mary said, OMG, your still here.
Rob said yes I am, I'm on the phone with customer service and I'm trying then right now, how you have treated me and talked to me. She got pissy, because he was telling on her for being rude to him.
Needless to say, we will have our new Internet box tomorrow by 8pm.... The old unit was not even 12 months old, so customers, please expect that when you get wireless home Internet the Verizon, your Internet router will take a crap with a year. Let's see how long this new router last.
Mary, you need to be trained on customer service and taught respect to others.
Today my daughter cashed me after moving into her new house this past weekend, on who we use for Internet, I told her, didn't go threw Verizon, I just told her about our experience, the box crapping out in less than a year, the bad service from the woman at the Verizon store, and having to wait 3 days for a new box, because their 24 hour customer service was closed when we called yesterday... To replace the cube.
So she went threw straight talk. $70 for the box $45.00 a month. Due to this very bad experience, I will now be telling everyone to go to straight talk.
If the next box goes out, I'm switching to straight talk myself. I will not deal with this again with Verizon.
