Yes, I'll walk ten minutes up the big hill just to get a loaf! The bread is amazing and I love the softness in contrast with the crunchy crust. They have a few options but I don't even care which one we get each time because they all look amazing. On our last visit, we also got a croissant... and then another croissant because it was that good.
Lots of people have said that they have the best bread in town and they really do! You can see them making it from scratch in the window next door.
The inside is small but there are a few seats outside and a nice view from the hill. They sell some local almond butter, cheese, jams, etc and make amazing-looking sandwiches too. Definitely go if you're here for a little while! It's away from the city center but now in my regular rotation living here.
Bonus points: The woman behind the counter is so sweet and kept waving at my toddler.
PS: There's also a high quality gelato shop next door too! read more
