Even though it was determined really quickly that they wouldn't be able to assist us with our lawn needs (backyard not accessible for their equipment) they took the time to write a substantial analysis of my lawn and problems I'm having, then offered several options and advice to alleviate my problems on my own. I was shocked when I saw the level of detail that went into this effort. I'm really disappointed I can't hire Super Lawns to help with my yard but if you can I would strongly recommended doing so. In an area of scam artists and overstretched contractors this was a real eye opener and has reinstalled my faith in NOVA contractors. Thank you.

It seemed to be going fine until the summer when our lawn was turning brown and developing bald patches. I called his office and spoke with them three different times. They said it needed fertilizer treatment and they put that down and it made the lawn worse. Bigger bald spots and dead grass. I contacted Mr. Miller directly and he came to our property and said: " it will come back on its own". Needless to say, it hasn't it won't. I contacted him one more time and he declared he would return and re-seed the property at no additional charge. I never heard from him again. They use Monsanto products, according to Mr. Miller. Base on my experience, there were pros and cons: Pros: -very responsive -give us the best one time deal. Cons: -very messy job. Broke one is an accident I get it, but multiple on both side; it's just beyond words. To top it off they just left all the broken glass and pieces there. I guess you get what you pay for. Pros are they show up on time, cut grass well. Cons are they don't blow all areas they are supposed to and are inflexible on arrival times, showing up at 8am, and unwilling to accommodate a customer's request to come after 9am to avoid waking us up and our neighbors. It also makes it inconvenient to move all of our cars out of our own driveway so early in the morning just to accommodate their schedule. Lost trust in this company early on.

A spectacular transformation -- thoughtful, skilled, and the communication was great!…read more After a difficult drought last year our grass burned and soil runoff became a real problem. B.Hernandez Landscape delivered a spectacular, well‑managed solution. David coordinated everything with excellent communication especially with additional requests; Benito and the rest of the crew were punctual, respectful, and clearly skilled. They removed excessive tree roots, trenched and built a sturdy retaining wall to protect the tree, regraded the yard to ensure proper slope for water runoff, and created two attractive flower beds with enriched soil and black mulch. They laid sod across multiple curb strips and the front of the house, carefully blending seams and finishing edges. Their quote was by far the fairest among five contractors we interviewed, and the workmanship shows it. With extra sod available they even took additional time to install over a curb strip for me. They cleaned up meticulously and even power washed the sidewalks. This team went above and beyond to support my request. The pride they took in this job is obvious -- I'm extremely grateful and proud of my front yard. Highly recommend B.Hernandez Landscape.
