Finally a lawn service company I can truly rely on. For years I've been trying different lawn…read morecompanies in the area, all the "Green...", "Doctors..." and other large companies who may have started OK but over the years kept degrading their service level for the benefit of an efficient profit producing production line, treating your yard as a part of a cluster of customers, often taking no more than 4 minutes to complete a "service round" regardless of your true lawn need. I looked for a small, locally owned provider, and found Richard to be a perfect fit. Today he completed a first landscaping project we asked of him to perform. With help of Jesus (not the one from the bible, but just a real nice guy) they performed a top notch service of clearing, extending tree and flower beds, converting areas from lawn to flower beds, spreading top soil and mulch and laying rocks on edges. They both showed a lot of care to our requests and instructions, suggested improvements (which we gladly accepted), and were very friendly, forthcoming, and pleasant to deal with - a world apart from the standard lawn service providers we got accustomed to expect. To top it all, the pricing is very reasonable, certainly with the level of execution they provided. So if you live in Leesburg and its near surrounding, and don't care for fancy advertising and rotten service, quickly retain Richard and hope he can still take you!

I am so glad that I did it as I have not cut my grass in over two years. I even got rid of all of my lawn equipment and created space in my garage. In addition to the lawn care (Lawn Mowing, Lawn Trimming, and Lawn Edging) and I have them do Lawn Aeration, Lawn Fertilization, and overseeding each season. The lawn I have today as compared to the lawn that I did over two years ago is an incredible improvement. I no longer have to spend considerable time working in the yard. Now it is an absolute joy to come home and see my yard all trimmed up. If by chance, I am home and they are doing the yard work, they are super fast. I highly recommend Jano Lawncare Services.

In the past, we used the big named lawn companies and never got the results we wanted. Based on a…read morerecommendation of a friend, we tried Solana Landscapes a few years ago and it was then we had results and started seeing the lawn we always wanted. When we moved into our house, we had dirt in the back yard. We had trees taken down and still barely any grass. When Mark diagnosed our issue and started working on our lawn, we had results! He knows what he's talking about! Additionally, we planted 9 evergreens that were dying. We bought every product known to try and stop them from dying, thinking it was web worms to a fungus. Mark thought that with us watering and the run off from our neighbors watering their yard, they were getting too much water. He was right! Mark's prices are very reasonable and he is honest. He will not recommend something you do not need. Additionally, he does a beautiful job with the flower beds and putting down mulch. We highly recommend Solana Landscapes. Try them. I came here to write about how far this company has fallen in quality and have found a lot of…read morereviews saying the same thing. It's sad really. Ultimately, ACA was once considered the best bang-for-your-buck yard-work service that you paid a little more for than the budget priced guys but got really quality work. Over the last few years, they've increased their prices exponentially and decreased their quality. I recognize the prices of things have gone up in recent years but there's no excuse for the terrible service. I scheduled them for a (over-priced) yard clean-up with 5 yards of mulch. Their office location repeatedly rescheduled it without informing us and I had to hound them to get answers about the availability. Eventually, the person I was speaking with even admitted they had no clue when they'd come out. Terrible communication / management that impacted what day my wife would go into the office that week. The actual work done was sub-par as well. Three folks showed up and made a really poor effort to remove weeds, leaving a ton behind, and then sloppily threw mulch on top of them, scattering it all over my yard as well. What a pain the next time a mowed the lawn! They tore out three completely healthy rosemary bushes that I used on a regular basis and completely mangled a rose bush that was a gift from my wife's grandfather before he passed away. The edging was poor and sloppy and they didn't ask anything of us. Ultimately, they got the job done and they did it on a short timeline because of rain last week having pushed the date and that's the primary reason why they got 2 stars instead of 1; but I don't know that I'll ever use them again.
