The crew was timely, thorough, and thoughtful. They were careful around my existing spring flowers and garden fixtures, and went above and beyond by weeding my vegetable garden and picking up branches and sticks throughout the yard to prep for mowing next week. Everything was cleaned up beautifully at the end of the day -- the property looks tidy and refreshed. The value for the price quoted is outstanding. I'm really happy with the work and looking forward to continuing this partnership with KD Landscaping through the spring, summer, and fall. Highly recommend!

Estate Lawn Services had cut the grass and low hanging tree branches on my elderly fathers property…read morefor many years but I relocated here to look after him and found that they had been dumping the cut tree branches in the creek that runs through his property. M father was almost 90 at the time and had no idea they were doing this as he was not able to go down to the creek. Apparently they had been doing it for quite some time there was a dam-like pile of tree branches, causing the water to back up and become rancid and not flow freely. This also caused a drainage problem below the pile of tree branches as it had turned that area into a muddy marsh-like area that still exists to this day. When I had confronted the owner, Aaron, about these branches he admitted that he did it and his excuse was that "it was my bad". I insisted he remove all the branches and although he removed some of them, the bulk of them remained in the creek as they had sunk down from the weight and were embedded in the mud. He refused to go into the creek and pull the embedded ones out. All of this could have been avoided if Aaron had hauled away the cut tree branches as he should have instead of dumping them in our creek. I still can't believe he did this instead of hauling them away. I suppose he would had to dump them somewhere and didn't want to take the time. I have plenty of photos of what he did and would certainly not recommend this company!

The main reason for that was how impressed we were with Michael, who was the only real arborist that came to check out our trees before the offer. Most of the others presented themselves as arborists, but judging by their advice we don't really think so. Michael actually refused to do what we initially asked him to do - he educated us on the health of our trees and did not want to harm them by over-cutting just to make them look good. He thoroughly examined each and every one of them, explained to us their current health, and suggested alternatives that would satisfy our needs but minimize the harm to our trees. We strive to practice sustainable lifestyle, minimizing our footprint on the environment, and adjusting as much as possible to the natural needs of the flora and fauna in our mini ecosystem, so Michael's advice was really valuable to us! The rest of our experience just continued with this exceptional level of service: the quote was fair and very reasonable, scheduling after our quick online approval was prompt, the follow up letter with Nancy from admin had details of the schedule and payment process (no down payment was required from us - another exception!!!). The crew was very punctual (in fact we weren't ready for them since you never expect a contractor to be on time). The work was done professionally, taking great care not to damage any other plants which are abundant in our back garden around the trees, consulting with us when needed, and cleaning everything perfectly after. We found this company based on a previous reviewer's experience and highly recommend hiring them for any tree related service you may need - small or big. Way to go Donegan's!
