Have similar feedback that others have shared but figured I would echo the sentiments. Upon first review, the sales person Ian was awesome, friendly, professional, and helping. We selected carpet based on budget and color selection only to be told several weeks later that they did not have enough in stock. They did say they we also behind in scheduling but it would be roughly 6-8 weeks out. I accepted, chose a new style and color of carpet and waited another 4 weeks for install. Installers showed up and I had a personal sauna in the basement where the job was being done that was reviewed when the measurement person was in and said it would not be a problem. Got a call from my son and mother-in-law who stated that they would not touch the sauna for fear of damaging it. I was at work at the time and asked for time off to go and move the sauna personally. Got there and the installers told me I could move the unit back into place since I had moved it originally to allow them to have space to initiate the install. It took me literally 15 seconds to move it back into place and one of the installers assisted to push it once I had it on the carpet. They said, "oh, that was easier than expected but we cant touch it due to not wanting to damage it and be liable," I get that point but it was discussed initially, then they finish and I have to trim all of the doors since they wont open and I have a solar backup panel that they removed the legs from and did not replace. They provided my family with the final invoice. I called in to provide payment info and they added and additional handling charge- never discussed. I challenged that only to be told that they must have moved it "because the carpet didn't magically install itself under the sauna". I left work, got docked pay for 15 seconds of my efforts yet I still get charged.- I tried to explain but the gentleman I spoke with was condescending and did not listen and just keep saying that they shouldnt have had to do anything but install carpet- despite my review with their measurement rep. I love the customer service- if you can pick up on the sarcasm..carpet looks nice, but could have dealt with less frustration and aggravation, and not being docked pay to handle a situation for 15 seconds. read more

BUYER BEWARE This place is a circus and run by a bunch of clowns. No integrity and pathetic follow through. It's not nice to bash a place but I don't want what happened to us to happen to you. The owner couldn't even return our phone call, he had his secretary do his dirty work. And Ralph the supposedly president of this place is something else. I'll make a really long story short. They had 3 different sets of people come out to our house on 3 different occasions and within one year they all were either fired or left the job. What does that say about a company. No one could get or keep a story straight. Complete confusion with an initial carpet installation for a patterned carpet that looked like patchwork from a beginner installer which could have very well been the case. Ralph told me personally they were gonna redo the entire job which was never carried through. Do yourself and your pocket a favor find a different place to buy carpet or flooring. Very disappointing experience with people who really don't care about your experience or their integrity or business reputation. read more

I purchased several rugs for my home and they looked great when they went down. The pricing seemed reasonable for the carpet style and quality we purchased. However, It's been about 6 months and the rug on the stairs is now wrinkling on three of the stairs and doesn't look that great. We tried to pick a carpet that would be super durable so it I'm surprised it is pushing up. I had been meaning to write a review and was reminded by the many Crest Ads that have been recently running in partnership with HGTV. They are at least better than the old ones they used to run. Probably a template that HGTV gives their vendors. Unfortunately like many of the local companies Crest probably uses sub-contractors to install their orders and I think that was what happened in our case. That was one of the reasons why we chose Crest over Home Depot, but in all likelihood they probably use some of the same vendors so probably better to go on price next time. read more

I had a great experience having my Vinyl Floors in the Kitchen/Bath installed by Crest. The sales representative that I worked with was wonderful and always very responsive. The installers they sent were friendly and professional, and did an excellent job on my floor. The only issue I had was that at the time of ordering, I was quoted 2-3 weeks later for Install. The floors arrived less than a week later, but they were not able to install them for about 5 weeks, which delayed the rest of my home renovations. A little better quoted timeline would have helped! Other than that, I had a great experience and would recommend Crest. I love my floors- thank you! read more

I've watched Crest grow from a single-wing warehouse to the fortress of floor covering it is today. Mountains of soft carpet, endless chambers of hardwood, and a 'Visual Reality ' room make walking through an adventure in and of itself. The staff, masters of this berber and cut-pile wonderland, are the kind of folks you can trust with a decision you'll walk on for the next 10 years. The sales people are great BUT they showed up at our door and Refused to wear a mask during a pandemic and had a snarky horrible attitude about it. We have people in our homes with weaker immune systems and this is completely disrespectful. My mother took off work all morning to be able to have these people in our home. This was a waste of time and a slap in the face this morning. If you are worried about your health at this time (as you should), and want to be respected skip this place. read more
