Great experience. Super friendly staff and both injures are fixed! I recommend it to a friend and she's very happy with the results as well.

However, our interaction with the administrative staff and social work staff was a very bad experience. As Social worker myself I understand a nursing home social worker is the bottom rung of social work . My family member was ready to be discharged on Wednesday. However she was then told that she had to wait a few days for discharge so a care plan could be completed. To the layman that sounds reasonable, yet to a veteran it means they wish to maximize their insurance payments and virtually held my family member against their will. When I confronted the Administrator, Scott, refused to give his last name, acted like a sleazy thug. The senior Social worker could not explain her actions and somehow was able to get the discharge done on Wednesday. We were knowledgeable but a layman will be exploited. The food was so bad I had to buy meals outside and bring them in because the food is inedible! Don't put your loved one here

I had to fight to get toilet paper, yes toilet paper. No one was on the same page. There were no universal processes so everything was CHAOS. You wait and wait and wait for even pain meds. Under staffed severely. I was "discharged" last Friday without knowing I had to do it myself. I had to call the nurse at the front desk to tell her I was leaving. No one ever told me this. OMG again, I almost lost the chartered car service waiting to take me home as this nonsense was so time consuming. AND worse yet, I was sent home WITHOUT my very vital meds (heart meds!!). I called and no one knew who could do anything. The meds were there and they were so stupid they couldn't possibly just call a messenger service or send someone to me (I live 10 blocks away). They did not call in any meds to my pharmacy. This just happened and I am now going into my 4th day of no heart meds. It is a disaster and disgrace. AVOID like the plague.

I have struggled with several physical ailments ranging from shoulder pain to hip and knee issues and she has helped repair them without the needs for surgeries (when doctors were trying to convince me to have surgery). I feel as good as new and I owe it all to Dr. Rivi. She works differently than any other PT I have ever experienced. She gives you individualized time and attention and works with both mind and body. She has a way of making you feel as though you're her only patient and is fully present with you at all times. Again, I can't recommend her highly enough.

Dr. Rivi is intuitive and seems to understand the body mechanics, uses multiple types of PT modalities such as cranial sacral, upper cervical/atlas, traditiona PT and makes connections better than any other body worker I've been to. She is also an extremely kind person. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

I received treatment at Spear PT's Upper East Side location on 3rd Avenue between 67th and 68th Streets, where my physical therapist was Ronique James. After eight weeks of treatment, I am now almost pain-free. Ronique was smart, caring, and attentive throughout the process. She listened carefully, asked thoughtful questions about my condition, and checked in regularly about which parts of the treatment felt too difficult, which exercises were helpful, and how I was progressing. She also varied the exercises, which kept the treatment from becoming repetitive or boring. Her approach reflected a strong understanding of my condition and the appropriate combination of care, including massage, ultrasound, stretching, and strengthening exercises. Ronique was always on time and consistently gave me the time and attention I needed. The administrative side of the experience was equally smooth. Scheduling appointments, coordinating insurance payments, and handling related details were all seamless. The staff was friendly, efficient, and consistently got everything right the first time. Staff frequently ignored call alarms, left him unattended, failed to take him to critical medical follow-ups, and repeatedly moved him between rooms, causing confusion and setbacks. My father suffered preventable injuries, long periods without proper rehab, and inconsistent hygiene and safety practices. Even basic tasks--like helping him to the bathroom or keeping the call button within reach--were often ignored. Across multiple floors the care felt chaotic, understaffed, and lacking oversight.
