On August 13, 2026, I placed an order at approximately 5:40 p.m. The restaurant accepted my payment and prepared and served my crêpe without mentioning that they would be closing shortly. Just a few minutes after serving me, an employee abruptly announced that they were closing in two minutes. When I asked what I was expected to do, he told me I had to leave at 6:00 p.m. and that he could package my crêpe to go. When I objected, he rudely told me that I "should have known" they closed at 6:00. If dine-in customers must leave promptly at closing, they should be informed before ordering. I could then have decided whether to order my food to go or eat elsewhere. Instead, they accepted my money, served me, and then almost immediately told me to leave--as though their failure to communicate were somehow my fault. When I asked the employee for his name, he sarcastically replied, "I don't have a name." He then offered to call the company himself but ultimately refused to do so. This was not a simple misunderstanding about closing time. The employee was rude, confrontational, dismissive, and openly contemptuous. A business cannot thrive when customer service is nonexistent--or, worse, when customers are treated with such disrespect. I will not patronize a business that permits its employees to treat customers this way.
