We ordered the carne asada (no beans, extra rice), which was about $30. The portion was decent, but overall the flavor was just okay. I wouldn't necessarily call it authentic, but it works if you're looking for a quick and easy meal. They did ask how we wanted the meat cooked we requested medium but since the steak was cut thin, it ended up being cooked well done. The kids' meals were simple and come with a drink, which is convenient. However, the orange juice tasted off and was really sour like it was expired, so we asked to switch it to apple juice. Garcia's is a decent option for a casual meal in a spacious setting, but for the price especially the $30 carne asada.

3.5 stars, but not quite 4…read more Pros - decorations are nice, the staff were nice and came across as warm, casual. They had a taco guy set up outside so we got tacos de carnitas, which were very good, and a mix of cabeza meats. The queso tasted good, and the steak marinade was different but good. Husband is hard to please with salsas, but he liked these ones. Horchata was great, but again, the price was exorbitant. Cons - a $6 coke and my husband's tacos being served on a random paper plate...prices are crazy for the area this restaurant is located at. I got the feeling that the restaurant was a fancy cover for a casual taco place, meaning fancy looking but the staff kept calling out to each other, kind of yelling, obviously not caring about the plating, etc. The queso fundido came with a random piece of tripa, which kind of grossed me out, but I understand cross contamination is bound to happen with an outside cooking station. The steak marinade reminded me of a rice/Asian marinade, so while it was good, it didn't quite fit with the Mexican cuisine for me. Also, I kept burping it up 2 days after, so clearly it didn't sit right with me. Husband felt they skimmed on the chorizo sausage, as his plate came with a piece of sausage, not a full one.

We're pretty picky when it comes to Mexican food, but this place never disappoints, it's very authentic and delicious. The owners and staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. It looks like they've done a remodel since the last time we were here, and the space feels even more fresh and inviting. Today we stopped in after a long day hiking at Mount Rainier, we were starving, and this was the perfect spot on our way back home. The food hit the spot, and the service was just as amazing as the food. Definitely worth the drive whenever we're in the area!

The price is crazy for what I got. I paid for four tacos and they were extremely flavorless. The…read moremeat needed salt, the onion, and the cilantro were very much lacking in flavor. I was asked if I wanted my grilled onion and grilled jalapeño I said yes. When I got the small bag with the small plate, I instantly knew I made a mistake. Each taco was greedily filled. I had two radish shavings cut in half. There were two dry pieces of carrot and that onion and jalapeño that I mentioned.. yeah, I got half of a jalapeño sautéed with maybe about eight pieces of onion all over the tacos.. I don't know who called this place authentic but I am highly disappointed.. The only thing that presented any equality was the paper bag and the sturdy paper plate that the tacos came on. Lastly, I wanna end my review with another note : the slices of lime that I received were so thin that was actually the most diabolical part of the order. These were the thinness slices of lime I have ever received in my entire life . It was almost insulting .

Pastor Tacos - I was really looking forward to some amazing tacos. I'll admit that the presentation is 10/10 for sure and they look amazing but do not taste as great as they look. The pastor tacos I ordered had onion, tomato, and no pineapple in them nor do I think the meat was pastor (maybe it was the wrong tacos entirely) they were way too sweet and I don't think I'll be ordering those again. Rice & Beans - this should be called rice and chili because the beans were not your typical refried beans that you usually get. Instead they were a very sweet tasting chili with cheddar cheese all over the top. Maybe they ran out of refried beans? My roommate ate the tortas and flour tacos that did not come with the free soda as described so I cannot speak to those dishes. Overall I have had way better experiences at other food truck locations that sell the same items and am a little upset that the presentation of the items don't live up to their flavor unfortunately for me.

Having grown up in Southern California I'm pretty particular about Mexican food. A friend…read morerecommended this so we decided to give it a try. Went on a saturday afternoon, totally not crowded so we were seated brought chips and salsa and drinks immediately. The salsa is very good but they bring you this little tiny bowl of chips that went quickly and no one ever showed up to see if we wanted more. My go to test at any Mexican restaurant is a chili relleno so I ordered that. It really wasn't good. The batter around the chili was literally mushy and sort of off putting. Again no one ever came by to check on our meals. My husband got a tamale and enchilada plate. He said they were ok, not wonderful. The price was better than most Mexican restaurants but the food not as good

My son and I usually love seafood, but we're glad that we ordered the combo as we didn't end up eating any of the shrimp in our order besides the couple of bites that we tried. Really unfortunate. Another let down was the fact that none of the servers that came by ever refilled our waters, and my glass was empty for quite awhile. I had to ask my friend for hers as she was having a cocktail instead.

Wait started probably around 6pm although there were still empty tables then. They provide garnishes for your water and also provide 4 salsas/accompaniments for your meal. I got the 16 oz ribeye served on hot stones. They cooked it slightly less than what you want, so for my medium rare, they cook it rare. It also comes with chimichurri and molacete(?) which has a more refreshing flavor. They season with rosemary and even light a branch on fire for more aroma. I tried a bite of my friend's filet mignon which was good, but my preferred cut is the ribeye or NY strip. We also shared the papa loca (worth it - so good) and the cauliflower (not as good, but I'm comparing it to a version made by Cuerno, a Mexican steakhouse in NY). I had a glass of the pinot noir and the garzon, and both were good, slightly tannic and 'juicy'.

The first time I got the Wagyu tacos which were sooo good and I love the variety and flavor of the sauces. I loved how simple the taco Wagyu is as the meat is high quality For my second visit I got the Vacio Wagyu which came in a sizzling hot stone plate and it stayed hot for me to cook all of my Wagyu. It didn't really need the accompanied sauce but it was nice to have. I felt the large rock salt was a little bit nub and would make it too saucey but I found the rosemary a perfect combination with the Wagyu especially as one was cooking underneath. Excellent service as well - our server was attentive and timely. I've only gone here for lunch and we did not have to make a reservation as it was not too busy!
