The staff here are friendly and care about what they do, (as all of the other locations on the street), but english is not their first language, so be patient! The women here running the bakery were fantastic, but we needed to do some charades to get what we wanted. Our fruit cocktail cake was only 20 bucks (for downtown dining week, it is slightly higher regularly), which is cheaper than many Costco cakes. It was so delicious. Light and fluffy, full of fruit and delectable whipped cream. I am not a super sweet fan, but I had three pieces of cake the first night. So lovely. The maple glazed donuts, the skor, the almond chocolate ones are also to die for. The people working there are very pleasant, helpful and attentive. It is another place i will be shopping at frequently. Next time i will get there early enough to enjoy a late, a cappuccino and perhaps have lunch as well.
