However, the rest of the family wanted him in a nursing home that would remind him more of his house and that was clean & new, so they checked him into Stallings Court. I learned that what matters most at a nursing home is not the newness or stylishness of the building, but the knowledge and dedication of the staff that cares for the patients. Unfortunately, Stallings Court's staff, with it's constant quitting & hiring of new staff, did not have that level of dedication. My father-in-law suffered for that lack of dedication until he passed away. Don't be misled by the attractive architecture or the pretty furniture. Find a facility where the staff at all levels has little or no turnover. That's the place where your loved one will receive the best care, because the staff really cares about the patient.

The pain caused my husbands heart to go into afib. he was in Medical Center ICU for almost a week,. then hospital, then rehab. i called him straight away from the hospital and he LIED like a dog,. Badders took my lawsuit but when they realized it was Luquette (they work together) Badders called me and said he had no medical malpractice insurance and i was out of luck. which was probably a lie as well. this is a true story,. his wife called me a lier,. but i guess he didn't go home and brag about it. The craziest part was that i was selling a house,. and my realtor was a Nacogdoches police officer,. i told him the story of what we were going thru. This police officer said to me that Luquette had broken his friends neck also. how does that even happen!? it was a complete nightmare
