Have lived at here for 4.5 years now, but I can no longer live here due to various reasons. First, the rent is way overpriced. $799 is too high for what you get when you could move to a much nicer apartment in a better part of town for only $25 - $50 more a month. Part of the rent is paying for a forced insurance policy that only benefits the apartment. You can purchase your own policy with better coverage for roughly the same price, but then you have 2 insurance policies for one room. Second, the parking is terrible. This is partly due to guests coming over and parking in the spaces meant for residents (close to the buildings). Third, the room needs some updating. The paint on the walls is cheap. A simple Command Strip/Hook caused the paint to bubble up from holding up a small plastic clock. Their painters have also painted the bathroom door hardware leading to sticking doors or doors that just simply won't close. The kitchen needs some updating. Fireplace/chimney may or may not need some cleaning before use. I don't know if they have a chimney sweep come up every year to prevent chimney fires. Fourth, the neighbors are terrible. The cops have had to come over several times over the past few months to talk to them about their fighting, screaming, and/or breaking stuff (noise complaints). Those same neighbors have also been breeding their dog (randomly you'll start hearing puppies barking). They have a lot of people coming and going from the apartment (sometimes they smell of weed) and have even given their key to someone who doesn't live here. read more
