Allison & White Realty illegally entered the property and destroyed every belonging my family…read moreowned. They lied and claimed Judge Scott Lippert ordered them to throw everything away -- a statement that was absolutely false. My criminal charge was dismissed, yet they still carried out an unlawful removal and disposal of all my property. Their actions violated North Carolina's prohibition on self‑help eviction, the requirement for a sheriff‑supervised writ of possession, and the laws protecting tenants' personal property. What they did constitutes conversion, unlawful eviction, and unfair and deceptive trade practices. After being instructed by a superior at the police department to contact them, David -- the same person who pursued the charges with Officer Gross despite knowing I had a legal contract to be there -- now hangs up on me and has blocked me. This behavior shows clear avoidance and refusal to take responsibility for the damage they caused.I am pursuing them in court for full compensation and accountability for the total loss of everything I owned.

They absolutely go above and beyond. With all honesty, any issues I've ever had have been handled in a timely manner. The amount of people this office handles is incredible. I promise if you rent from them you won't be disappointed.

I was very interested in looking at a unit the other day. I went to the Miller & Associates office…read moreand noticed the back door had a sign that said "Please use front door". So I went to the front door to notice a sign that said "Please use back door". I ended up walking up the steps and going in the front since it was unclear which door to use. As soon as I walked in, an older lady asked me "Did you not read the sign?" to which I replied "Yes, I did. But your back door says to use the front door so I didn't know which one to use." She said they put that sign there because the steps were icy (bad weather that day). Not making much of it, I moved on and asked for a key to see a unit. She replied, "Honey, we're about to close (because of the weather). You have to fill out an application online and we're not giving keys out today". Because of this brief RUDE interaction, I will not be pursuing a unit from them. I would suggest you speak to potential renters more kindly.

If I could give zero stars I would. Rented a house from them for 2 and half years. Never late on…read morerent a single time. Never caused ANY trouble. I was told that I had a large dog in the house bc the landlord seen a dog outside. They gave me 30 days to move. I cleaned the house very clean. Some small damage here and there but nothing that 100 bucks wouldnt take care of. They kept 810 of my 900 and listed a bunch of bogus charges. Im sure they with something to act like they are in the right. I would agree maybe 100 bucks to fix everything. a couple damaged blinds. They charged 300 bucks for 10 blinds from Walmart. I wont get my money back from them but I would STEER CLEAR of these scam artists. I can see why they have alot of 1 star reviews

Pro: 1. good…read morelocation, walking distance to most stores, downtown, restaurants, hospital, and gas station. 3. Reasonably priced, unfurnished. 2. Maintenance guy is super friendly, sweet and helpful. He is the least appreciated person by the owner of the property. 3. Relatively safe, although I have heard gun shots followed by police cars before. 4. Neighbors keep to themselves. 5. Water cost is included for now. 6. Comes with adorable stray cats, most neighbors feed them, while the landlord expressed hatred toward these defenseless souls. Con: 1. House feels weathered. I had leaky window and faucet when I first moved in. The walls are thin, there is little privacy even though this is a town house. The floor was so dirty that after 6 months of living here and moping the floor everyday, the water still comes out black. The carpet is old with stains everywhere. 2. No pet policy, nothing at all, not even if you want to look after your friend's hamster for a few days. 3. Sketchy neighbors. The place asks everyone to pay $25 for background check, but I doubt they do the checks, because even the rats living in my attic can tell some of them were drug dealers. 4. Condescending owner who is always on the defense when talking to you. She always assumes her tenants are either retarded or taking advantages of her. 5. I kept reporting water leakage in my apartment and the only time she sent someone to fix it was when they realized their water bill was off the roof. Property owner doesn't even bother to hire a professional when the water pipe broke, the poor maintenance guy had to fix it by himself. Or they stopped the water on purpose to keep the water bill down, who knows, the owner is not that trust worthy. 6. No recycle bin, stray cats come feast in the dumpster all the time. Overall: It is decent place for a temporary stay if you want to save money. Semi-family friendly, not pets friendly (not sure if I trust people who cannot love animals), not environmental friendly. You are stuck with rats as pets when you move in and free alarm clocks when neighbors wake up at 4 or 5 AM for work, and you'll never be late for work. It is very hard to find apartment in this area. I suggest you look at Hickory. I have also noticed it is almost impossible to get a good deal on Internet in Lenoir. If you work in Lenoir, the drive from Hickory is still totally worth it.

The grounds, amenities, parking and the newly renovated apartment itself are great. You only need to remember, as others have said, that this is an apartment and you are going to hear your neighbors to some degree. If you have considerate neighbors this is not an issue but remember not everyone will possess the maturity to be a considerate neighbor and it can become rather loud in that situation. It's a lovely community and has served me well over all.

I reported this multiple times to the property manager, expressing serious concern for the safety of my three small children. Unfortunately, absolutely nothing was done to address the issue. After explaining that I could not continue to live in such an unsafe environment, I gave a 30-day notice and had a conversation with the property manager. He gave me the impression that, considering the circumstances, I would not be penalized for breaking the lease early. I trusted that he understood the situation and was being reasonable. To my shock, I recently discovered a charge from this property on my credit report. Not only is this incredibly frustrating, but it also feels deceptive, especially after the property manager's initial response. I would strongly caution anyone--especially families--from moving into this complex. The management does not take tenant safety seriously, and communication is misleading at best. I regret ever signing a lease here.
