Creek is tucked away in deep south of the Gold Coast in Currumbin. The restaurant has an indoor seating as well as outdoor seating which fronts a river. I sat outside and found it pretty nice relaxing. Seats were in the form of long wooden benches which gave a real sense of relaxing by the seaside.
Food style wise, it hints towards French. We had oysters and duck and scallop spring rolls for entrée. The oysters were really fresh, and the springs rolls were reasonably nice. I had a rib eye in the bone which was cooked perfectly, pretty close to my requested medium, although the meat itself was slightly chewy with quite a few tendons running through it for some reason.
Staff are really nice, honest and helpful, and even though we were tucked away in a corner and the fact that they had a party of 30 to look after as well, the staff never forgot about us even though we were tucked. Nice setting, decent food, good service. read more
