First, this is a very unprofessional run business. I would not recommend this horse farm to anyone. I have steadily been able to tell my friends and family about the rude staff members here, namely Alyssa, who seriously need to learn the actual etiquette of maintaining a business, i.e. treating customers well.
After sending in the rest of my payment to this business for my daughter to attend horse camp for one week, one staff worker, Alyssa send a barrage of emails to me saying how horribly busy they were and how they did not have time to check the mail (when I was inquiring whether they received my payment, yet). I was taken back by the rudeness of the email when my inquiry was not written in such a way to warrant that sort of response. I let Alyssa know that I would rather not bring my daughter to this farm if this was the way they would conduct business, but since I already sent money I would need to see this out. After a week, I wrote to inquire if they ever received my letter (as she still refused to say if she had), Alyssa decided to finally tell me that she sent my letter and payment back without telling me since she did not like that I mentioned I would write a negative review of this business. She wrote this to me just a couple of days before my daughter would attend this camp, which I had no idea. I would have been left with no where to go had I not found a better camp (thankfully!) as Alyssa was not even going to tell me!
They still have yet to send back my deposit as well!
I have actually posted her back and forth emails to all my 2000+ facebook friends and family from this establishment. I would never ever attempt to go back to this business. I actually sent my daughter to a better place this past week and she loves it!
It sounds like this business and Alyssa are very ignorant types of people. Alyssa strikes me as a very defensive person and takes everything personal. I can tell she most likely does not have any social skills and probably no kids of her own. She is quite vindictive and should not be in any line of business. She may have an ego with her past with horses and competition but that is where it ends. She does not have the brains to run a business, nor does she know how to socialize well with people. She sounds quite cold and distant.
Again, I do not recommend this place. I have also reported them to the BBB for investigation. read more
