I had them do both of the used cars I bought and they lasted me forever with regular maintenance. In my experience everyone that works in this facility is honest, fair, they want to help people and they want them to be safe. This is the first and ONLY mechanic shop that I have been to as a woman where I wasn't treated like I was a dunce or less than. The employees here explain things in a way of informing you not persuading you or intimidating you with fear that if you don't complete the job something extraordinarily bad is going to happen. They give you realistic expectations on how much more you can drive until you need to really get it done which helps people that are on a budget. I think the prices are higher on average but the amount of service, attention, and thoroughness you get the price is very fair! I recommend this place to everyone I know especially women because I know how important it is to feel safe with mechanics and not like they are trying to get over on you! I've had my share of bad experiences but never with Christian Brothers! They truly exemplify the name!

They did a complete inspection of my vehicle and emailed me the report, including pictures of the things they found wrong. I had no idea that my brakes were close to being bad, as well. They submitted a claim to my warranty company, but it got denied. That's a story for the review I wrote on that company's page. Luckily, Christian Brothers uses Affirm to allow you to finance your balance due. They walked me through how to sign up for it, and once everything was set, got to work on my car. I am very glad that they provide shuttle service if you live in the area. I took my car in at 7AM, and the work was completed around 4:30PM. I didn't have to sit in their waiting area all that time. I picked up my car and was only gone for about 5 minutes when I received a call from them. There has been some missed communication, and the guys in the shop had not done the alignment I had paid for. They told me to bring my car by any time to get it done. I give them a lot of credit for that phone call. They could have easily pocketed my money without performing the service, but they were honest about it. I stopped by the next morning and they got me right in.

First off I got so much bull from this company that wouldn't take nothing to them again and I suggest you don't. They told me I was going to have to have a new wiring harness ( which I did know about) that was fine but I ended up having to go find the wiring harness myself . They did go get it but then it took 7 weeks to get my Jeep back with a empty tank of gas and emblems missing off my Jeep . Scratches also . I would not recommend letting these guys touch your car or truck. My transmission is still changing gears wrong. They had told me it was my catalyst converter . Well carried to another person and guess what nope it's not the catalyst converter . Take a fools advice and never have dealings with these guys. Very unhappy customer!!!

We were driving on 81 north to Manassas when the air conditioning started blowing warm air. Then the low battery light came on. Then some dash lights went out. We knew something was wrong and were just before the Christiansburg exit, so I quick looked on yelp and saw Ashton's Place not far with a 5 star review. So I started calling and Ashton answered and as I was on the phone explaining, the car stopped completely and we just made it into a little store just down the road from Ashton's. He said stay there, I'll walk down to you. He came with a portable battery & got us started. We drove to his shop and he took a look right away, and told us what it would cost and how long he estimated, which would put it past his closing time. He asked if we had somewhere to stay overnight; he assured us he would try and get it done or if he couldn't that night, definitely the next morning. He even recommended a hotel (which we loved!) and asked his coworker, Joe, to drive us there! Near the hotel was a restaurant we were eating. Halfway through dinner he called to say it was ready! They had stayed after closing to finish it. He even brought it to us at the restaurant! I don't know about you, but I've never had better service than that! We called our insurance company and asked about roadside service. They said they'd get a tow truck to us. Well, we waited on the side of the road for 5 1/2 hours before they showed up. But that's a different review. But I wanted to set the stage regarding our urgency to get moving again. The trip should have taken us 6-7 hours. So finally, after the tow arrived we were on our way. They pulled us up in front of an establishment and we went inside to see about repairs and time. We were told it would be Monday (the day the rodeo ends) before they could look at it. Oh, the deflated hearts were terrible. Then someone showed up in the parking lot and we were sharing our story with them. They said, well, we're pretty slammed too, but let's get it down to our shop and we'll take a look. These men were from Straight Arrow Transmission just down the way on the other side of the parking area. They even got their own vehicle to pull the now disconnected trailer and golfl cart there too. After some diagnostic work, they suspected the coil was bad. Odd, because I'd replaced it a few months earlier. But, as it turns out they actually had a same model donor vehicle right there. So they pulled the coil from that vehicle and put it in mine to test. Sure enough, it fired right up. Then they contacted their vendor and had them deliver a brand new coil. When it arrived, they installed it and checked the truck out. All was great! Total time onsite was just under an hour. You don't often find folks who will stop what they're doing to help a traveler. But these folks did. They did it fast, they did it right and with laughs and smiles. This is the kind of stuff you look for when needing professional mechanical help. Great job guys! Sorry it took me so long to get this review.

What we thought was going to be $1000's in repair costs turned out to be much, much less as Butch found it was a wiring, and not a transmission issue. A quick fix and we were on our way. Made it home safe and sound on the other side of the country (AZ) without issue. Highly recommend this shop to anyone in the area! Can not say enough good things!
