I paid over $360 for this repair, picked my vehicle up, and the very next day...I rolled down the window to let a bee out of the window as I waited outside to pick my daughter up after school...I heard a snap. The window regulator was malfunctioning again. I went by the shop to ask Jimmy if he had issues replacing them, and told him that the driver side rear was broken again just one day later. He didn't offer to take a look at it to see what the issue was...nothing. I vowed to never use the passenger side rear...afraid that the same thing would happen, and you know? Months later...I came out of the grocery store and my back window was down? I never touched this window, which means that it's possible that I've paid this young man for a job that was never done properly. I was ROBBED!

One Saturday, I got up early and hit the biggest muffler chain in town to replace the muffler that FELL OFF the previous week. So the guy shows up late and makes me wait a half an hour, and come to find out, they can't fix it. So I go to a regular garage, wait for an hour before they tell me they can't get parts for a week. &^%#$ But one of the customer service reps meets me in the parking lot before I leave and tells me to go to Sprague Street Muffler. Fine. I drive across town and go in. The guy just glances at the car and tells me the price and asks me for the keys. I also tell him I want a special chrome tip that his stocks and he nods and disappears into his shop. I am a fast reader and I do not pass page 12 of Outdoor Life before he comes back in and asks me how I want to pay for it. I look back outside and the car is still there. I thought it was odd that he wanted payment before the work was done, then I noticed the chrome tip on the car. I couldn't believe my eyes, this guy had fabricated a special piece, installed a new muffler that fits MG and Triumphs (he had this in STOCK!!!!!) and it mounted the chrome exhaust tip in less than 15 minutes. Plus, he did quality work. This was not shoddy workmanship, he (the owner) is a very skilled machinist. So I got out for under $140 total. Everyone else was telling me around $360 for parts, plus the labor. Best muffler shop in the Triad AND he works on vintage cars with loving care.
