Jesse and his team at Cobalt Credit Services are nothing short of amazing. I have now been working with his company for over six months and during that time, they have shown an unusually high level of professionalism, expertise and honesty in comparison to most Large Leeching Firms (L.L.F.), who will do anything to keep you paying their outrageous monthly fees. Such is not the case with Cobalt. You pay ONCE and get your money's worth times ten. As with any credit repair process, the first step is sending them your credit report (this is completely standard, they can't automatically pull a person's credit report without putting a "hard inquiry" on it which would be damaging so the CUSTOMER must supply the report, which is considered a "soft" inquiry and has no effect on score). After you give them your report, Jesse personally analyzes the report and collaborates with the customer to see where and how negative and/or falsified items can be removed and gives a modest, ONE-TIME fee that is truly a steal. The icing on the cake is that if you don't see any improvement in your credit, you pay nothing, AND, if there is something on your report that Jesse or his team feel would better be handled by YOU personally, he will guide you through this process for free, instead of trying to keep you paying a monthly fee for items they simply cannot change (this is a rare case; most negative items can be removed or neutralized). After subscribing to a Large Lecherous Firm for months and months and paying hundreds, I canceled and went to Cobalt, and in one day I was advised, FOR FREE, as to how I can repair the one item that was negatively affecting my report MYSELF, and that it would be just as easy for me to do it as Cobalt could so I ended up paying NOTHING, AND, following his advice, called the collector and settled it myself satisfactorily. Long story short, instead of trying to hook me in, dangling a carrot in front of my nose and leech my wallet with monthly fees, Jesse told me straight up "This is something you can handle yourself, you don't need to pay me anything to do this. Here's what you need to do:". ALL PRO BONO. Jesse and his team are truly interested in protecting innocent consumers from blood-sucking collection agencies, and have nothing but their individual customers' best interest in mind, providing them with expert-level services at rock-bottom prices, in my case, completely free. As for Ms. Emily Jennerich's review, she is not a customer of Cobalt; she is paid to call companies and use false pretenses to try to collect information about their private business dealings i.e. "Estimating and Pricing Analyst", "Procurement Cost Analyst", "Business Analyst", etc. In other words, she calls companies, claims to be interested in becoming a customer, and then continues to lie to try to collect business statistics. Shameful. Cobalt has shown time and time again they are a company oriented and loyal towards their true customers and willing to go out on a limb to fight collection-agency-mega-conglomerations on the customers' behalf...and win. read more

Like so many people, I had been struggling with bad credit for many years. It was like trying to run in quicksand. I was a victim of Identity Theft in 2006 and had done everything in my power to remove the inaccurate information from my credit. Somehow the Credit Bureaus allowed someone to open a Credit Line worth $16,500 in my name with only 7 out of 9 numbers of my social security number matching and my name spelled incorrectly. This computer hacking thief maxed out the credit line leaving me with a huge hit on my Credit. I didn't find out until I was applying for a refinance, and was denied. At this same time my mortgage interest rate was going through the roof and I could hardly afford to make my payments. Truly grateful to Cobalt Credit Services! My life has had a full 180 going from mid 500's to 740's credit score for all three Bureaus. The FREE consultation allowed me to shape a plan for getting my credit in order. They raised my credit by having me purchase trade lines but once my credit went up they wanted me to purchase something different. I just intended to use them as a backup when I had cash flow issues in my business and signed up. I was approved and then was regularly hounded by rude employees, mostly it appeared to be from the middle east, on the phone and by email demanding to know if I ever intended to use it. I explained repeatedly that I would use it if needed. Finally I sent an email about how rude they were and they evidently dropped my approved line of credit as I received an invitation to apply for a loan again. Customer service has a Great Wall in between them and the "business team" who will take 3 business days to get back to them so that they can answer questions and solve problems. For a company that can give you a loan in 10 minutes, 3 business days seems like a bit much. They call themselves a "technology company" which means they are just collecting all your data and pretending to be a loan company. read more

The Owner tells everyone the company is great and does the work but the reality they are Horrible at fixing credit, getting people funding and the Trade Lines are a RIP OFF, that stopped working in 2009.
