The owner picks very high quality staff (teachers, I'm pretty sure) and trains them very well. It's not just a camp, it's a giant leap forward in your child's social, emotional development and problem solving skills. But the kids would not tell you that, they just love that they are having fun! I love that they get out and explore nature and create stuff out of recycled materials to solve fun challenges. They also learn the vocabulary of growth mindset and team work. The only drawback has been the location - but they've already fixed that by expanding to additional locations. Oh, and yes, it is one of the most expensive camps, but it's worth it!

I'm amazed at all the things she's learned and going to gymnastics is definitely the highlight loves coming here and they are so attentive to every kiddo! Extra EXTRA shout out to Coach Avery! My daughter absolutely adores her, and so do my husband and I! Her classes are engaging and always well prepared. She's pro at building relationships with her students while teaching them discipline. As a parent, I can't tell you how much that is appreciated! Coach Kinsey is also just as amazing!!! They're both sweet as can!

Honestly, seeing 4.8 stars is very surprising to me after what I saw, and experienced at Tumbles. A…read moremom recommended it to me after she tried a trial/intro class with her daughter and loved it. Needless to say, I didn't have that same experience she did. I waited a while to write this review to see if my feelings on this changed when I would be less upset, but I still feel the same way when I left there over a week ago. A friend and I signed up for the trial class, I showed up about 10min early with my 1.5yo and I walked into the gym. The receptionist was nice, but not super welcoming. I like how the areas were separated by a half wall, the gym on one side and the waiting area on another. I asked if I could let my toddler run around (no one was in there waiting at the time) and she said not really I had to wait for the class to end before we could hangout before our class started. She didn't really tell me where the bathrooms were or explain anything to me with it being my first time there. While I was waiting I witnessed the coach talking very negatively and down to the children in class. (8ish- 11yo I'm guessing ) it was time to clean up and she was directing them with a raised voice, calling children out saying things like "do this, move that, don't touch that, I told you not to touch that, you all aren't listening, stand here etc. but the tone and the way she was talking to these kids... Their faces said it all. I was SO uncomfortable watching this situation unfold. I'm not sure if she had an off day or what, but I would NEVER let someone talk to my child the way she did. At the end of our class the director asked me how it went, and I pulled her aside and I gave her the feedback of what I witnessed and how uncomfortable I was. She listened, but stuck by her coach and essentially said "they're in camp, and they've been a challenge today. They aren't listening or following the rules and we can't have them get hurt". Sure, I understand that they need to listen but you're telling me every single kid (15+ children) in camp, deserved to be talked to like that? No. Absolutely not. I've coached children before, and there are far better ways to round up and get your point across without yelling at them and the entire group. For our actual class/ trial lesson the coach had what felt like 10+ activities for us lined up, and seemed frustrated when my 1.5 yo and others wouldn't sit still for the welcome song/explanation and the goodbye song. At one point, she picked my child up without asking me first, not that I would mind but my friend said she would have been very upset if the coach grabbed her daughter without asking first. The activities were mediocre at best, they felt very advanced for their age, and the coach again seemed frustrated if the children didn't want to interact with her "curriculum" she planned. She was boasting about how she created it herself. We did a tiny bit of free time, balance beam, ball pit, climbing triangle pad things, bubble time, the ROCK WALL, swings, and at one point she pulled out childrens walking toys & shopping cart things & building blocks, like big legos... I thought this was a gymnastics studio? The "curriculum" felt very rushed and we weren't in each category for very long. My child, amongst the others was very curious about the storage room, which she went into almost every time we switched activities, and left the door open every time. The children just wanted to go in there so bad, and obviously couldn't which causes them to be upset & us as parents to continuously redirect or distract when it was happening. I wasn't impressed with any of it, I'm glad others found value and like the place however I saw a totally different side to the coach(es) and my experience was mediocre at best.

I was able to get to know owner Angelee and coaches Ashley, Brittany and a couple of other pleasant young ladies. They all are personable and professional! Amenities are clean and new. They offer birthday parties and camps. And mainly they have so much patience for little ones.

Only taking one star if you decide to come in as a sole adult. There are other programs that offer a much greater variety of days/time options, and greater variety of instructors if you are a lone adult, however, if you look to enroll your child or to train alongside your child, this appears to be a very good program, perhaps the best in the area. Also, Master Schill is an honorable person who gave me a refund after sign-up, since I was looking for a bit different program at the time as a solo adult. You can be sure that he will keep his word.

Capital Gymnastics is a great place! We've been going here for several months now and I am so happy…read morewe moved to this gym. My daughter is currently in Girls 2 and Tumbling 1, so the review is based on that class. Here's the scoop: -The classes are capped in sizes. They are strict about coach to student ratio. I appreciate this because the kids are doing things that they could easily get hurt if not monitored appropriately. It seems to be 8 kids per coach and most of the time it's even smaller. -The coaches are awesome. They all are great with the kids. They are always happy and very helpful to the students. I've seen them spend quality time with each kid to help the child progress on their skills. My daughter has told me how much her coaches care about her. She's 7 and feels great going to class, that says it all right there. -The gym area is huge. There's lots of space for the kids to move around. Lots of equipment so all of the kids in class can work on their stuff with minimal downtime. The equipment all is in good shape and well maintained. -There's a lot of different skill leveled classes. No matter your kid's skill level, they are in a class that's appropriate and one they they have fun and improve in. We have been at other gyms where did not happen, so I like this. -They offer lots of fun extra classes. About once a month they have a "Kid's Night Out" on a Friday from 7-10pm. My daughter thinks it's a party for the kids to go to and loves it. My hubby and I love that we can squeeze in a date night. They also do clinics on different skills to help the kids improve on their skills. I highly recommend this gym for your kids.

I have a very artsy fartsy adorable little girl. She has always liked drawing, painting, crafting,…read moreand anything remotely art like. When she turned 5, her only request for a present was that we found a place where she could take art classes "for real." I looked around for a place that did children's art classes, not just something that did projects, but that taught the fundamentals of art to kiddos. Luckily, I found Art+ Academy and it has been great! I have a very happy kiddo now since she has her real art classes. Here's the scoop: 1. Small class sizes. They monitor how many kids are in each class to make sure the student to teacher ratio is always low. The kid's all learn from each other, as well as get a lot of individual guidance to help their skills develop. 2. Classes for kids are separated into small age groups to keep the learn levels on the same playing field. The classes range from 4-5, 5-7, 7-9, and 9-12. It's nice that 12 year olds don't have to be with the 5 year olds. Peer groups help everyone learn better and faster. 3. They also do teen and adult classes, so really anyone and every can take classes if they are interested in them. 4. The teachers, at least the ones I have met, seem to really care about the students. They offer help and guidance, but still let each student do their own artistic styles. They really want each person to believe in their own artistic abilities. 5. The price seems very reasonable for the quality of the classes. If you or know someone who is interested in art classes, I highly recommend Art + Academy.
