I had picked up several items from around Santa Clarita, and had placed all of them inside a cute little lunchbox I had picked up at Rocket Fizz. I brought the lunchbox in, and after meandering around the store a bit, I had found a card that was the right size. In addition to countless holiday cards and the adorable hallmark ornaments, the store is chock full of 'cutesy' things to buy. I was tempted by several of them, but held onto my man card as I passed by. I placed the card on the counter next to the lunchbox, and began the payment process. Nice lady behind the counter asked if I was part of their club, and I decided to sign up. As I was filling out the form, the reason for my visit came up, and I declined the bag option, and decided to put the cute lil wonder woman plushie directly into the lunchbox. While I was still filling out the club form, the nice lady behind the counter proceeded to tissue paper wrap all of the contents of the lunchbox. Even the ones I had purchased at the other stores! It was amazing, she told me she had practice assembling her son's lunchbox, and neatly wrapped up and stacked the contents of mine. She even did her best to repair a broken plastic box that one of the other gifts was in. Talk about above and beyond the call of cashier duty. The inside of the lunchbox now looked far better than anything I could have done on my own, I had a cute birthday card that fit perfectly on top of the lunchbox, and I was now a happy member of the club. If I ever need a card again, I'll definitely stop in here.

Today they would not accept it. They were rude. I don't expect the store to be in business much longer. The worst part is, they wouldn't even try the coupon. 1 Star but would leave zero if that was an option…read more We ordered a cake and cupcakes for our son's baptism and birthday, scheduled to be ready yesterday by 6 PM. When we arrived, we were told the order had been canceled--without any notification, call, or email. The manager that evening assured us the issue would be rectified and that everything would be ready by 12 PM today. We returned at 1 PM, only to find that nothing had been done again. Miguel was the lead we spoke with, and the manager, Ceaser, told us he would personally take care of it--but once again, the order was not ready. As a last-minute attempt, they offered a random cake and cupcakes at no charge, which were not what we ordered and not acceptable for such an important occasion. Because of this repeated failure, we had to leave our only son's baptism and birthday celebration multiple times to keep returning to Walmart--for absolutely nothing. The time, stress, and disappointment this caused our family is unacceptable. This was horrible customer service, complete lack of communication, and zero follow-through. We are extremely upset and will never use Walmart Bakery again. We will also be making sure our friends and family are aware so they do not experience the same thing.
