My children love the classes and camps at Drawn2Art! We have been there for a few years now and it continues to be a stellar activity for my kids. I love seeing how proud they are of their work and creativity. It really boosts their confidence when they master a skill and move up a level. They use different mediums as well such as markers, water colors, acrylic, etc. The clay sculptures they make during the camps are also a family favorite! The staff members are all talented, professional and kind. My kids adore everyone who works there! read more

I've been taking classes here since 2015, and it's been a great experience throughout the years. I've gone from drawing very simple pictures to doing realism, with different mediums. All the teachers are friendly, and great at giving clear instructions. The studio is very clean, organized, and feels safe to work in. read more

Wow. What can I say. When my little boy wanted to take up art....I was a little skeptical. I thought to myself...art...really? He is going to be poor for the rest of his life. But his teacher Lauren really made the whole experience worth it. She knew exactly how to relate and teach my kid. Best part. I have a million pictures of dogs hanging on my fridge that appear to be drawn by Monet himself. THANKS LAUREN. YOU ARE THE REAL MVP!!! Chloe gets an honorable mention. read more

Amazingly talented instructors, personable management. Drawn2Art does an incredible job of teaching art and setting them up for success. I wish I would've attended a place like this when I was young (I'm 32 and still don't know my primary colors)! The studio is always clean and the students even are engaged and well behaved. Cannot recommend enough! Been sending our little one for 4 years! read more

I wish I can give this place ZERO stars. My 4 1/2 year old daughter took the FREE intro class on Thursday (6/8). I noticed that the manager and the teacher were very distracted, multi-tasking, doing so many things. I didn't understand why Alexis was helping someone on the computer when she should have been helping the other teacher, Lulu (not sure if that's the spelling of her name), who was the only one teaching the other kids. 30 minutes later, Alexis helped Lulu teach the kids. I was sitting down just observing the class to make sure my daughter was enjoying it and getting enough attention. It's a nicely decorated studio, but that's about it. They are so disorganized. Of course, I was willing to overlook what happened at the FREE intro class on Thursday because I wanted to make it work for the sake of my daughter who likes art. I decided to sign up my daughter for the once-a-week class which costs $100 per month. Alexis told me that there was an opening on Monday, Tuesday or Thursday at 3:30 pm. I decided to schedule my daughter's art classes every Monday at 3:30 pm. So we show up on Monday (which was TODAY), and Lulu is the only one there. She was busy speaking with another parent and daughter who were inquiring about the school's art class program. There were several students in the room, and because Lulu was by herself (apparently, the other teacher who was supposed to help her did not show up), the other kids who were there did not get the attention they needed. And we're paying $25 an hour for this? Of course, there was another parent who came in, and wanted to have her daughters attend a make-up class, and yes....Lulu had to cater to that parent as well. My daughter's class supposedly started at 3:30 pm. As of 3:45 pm, she was still sitting there with no guidance. How ridiculous? I told Lulu that I wanted to stay to observe the class. She told me that parents can only stay for the 1st intro class, and not for succeeding classes. I told her that I would like to stay because I was not happy with the way things were going today with their disorganized ways. I even told her that we may not return after today. It's a good thing I stayed because I was able to witness how disorganized this place really is. I am quite disappointed since I liked the ambiance of the studio, and really wanted to make this work. It's understandable for parents to come in and inquire about the program, but someone (not the teacher) needs to take care of these inquiries. They most definitely have a staffing problem AND a training problem. I understand the other teacher did not show up, but they should have a back-up plan in case that situation happens. Lulu was freaking out because it was overwhelming, so she called Alexis to come in. Apparently, Alexis is not there on Mondays. It's a good thing that Alexis was able to come in considering it was Monday today . According to Alexis, she turns parents away who come in to inquire about their art classes during class time. She supposedly tells them that she will need to speak with them at a later time. She said that Lulu should have turned parents away, and not leave the kids waiting. I thought Thursday's FREE intro class was disorganized, and that should have been a sign right there not to register my daughter for future classes. I am normally very positive and understanding.....but this was ridiculous! So much for remaining positive! Today just confirmed that first impressions do last. And believe me, after today, this place left a bad taste in my mouth. I guess I shouldn't be shocked that this place is willing to take your money and provide poor quality service. Maybe that's why they are understaffed.....because no one can tolerate their disorganized ways. My advice: Please don't spend $100 a month at this place, unless you have money to burn. They love to multi-task....they will "teach" art classes to kids & do other things at the same time which results in poor quality. NO THANK YOU. read more

Visiting this studio as a current art student at Otis College, I found that this creative studio, had a professional and friendly environment. Drawn2Art is great! My daughter has been a student there for a few months now. She had no formal art training before going here, and the progress she's making as an artist is simply amazing! I can't recommend them highly enough! read more

We came across KidsArt because my niece was taking art classes here. Her home was filled with framed masterpieces so we signed up for the free class and ended up staying! Both of my kids were enrolled and were thrilled every week to attend. They quickly learned different art techniques like water color, pastel and marker. They also learned how to shade and how to blend. The teachers, Lulu and Polly were very kind and knowledgeable as their personal art is framed at the school for you to see. We really enjoyed our time here and would recommend to anyone starting or trying to grow their love for art! read more

We love KidsArt! My son has been taking classes there continually for the last few years. His talent has grown by leaps & bounds as a result. They allow the kids to primarily work on their own, but they also give them personal guidance along to way to fine tune any techniques they've been working on. We're so pleased with the studio & its instructors! read more

I do NOT recommend! They did not value my time or my potential recommendation. Signed my daughter up for a drawing class at KidsArt (Valencia) through the city parks & recreation program to give KidsArt a try. Showed up at the set time to be told that they had changed the class date & time & that it wasn't their responsibility to notify students. So we'd driven over for nothing just because they couldn't be bothered to make a call to let us know. (BTW, called the city later and they didn't even know the class time/date had been changed.) When I said I'd check our calendar but might not be able to do the new night/time, the girl working at KidsArt said in a not nice way that they had a waiting list if we couldn't make it then. A second option was mentioned but again we couldn't make it. I expressed that I had rescheduled things to fit THIS class so was going to have a problem finding something to switch to. However, we were looking for an art school and had other parents ask for recommendations so could we work something out. The girl bordered on rude and essentially said they were doing just fine (my interpretation is that they didn't NEED my recommendation). I am the pre-paid customer. I show up to be told the class is changed to a time that we likely can't make. I did nothing wrong. Showed up early in fact. If THIS class at THIS time doesn't work, at least make an effort to be polite & invite us back another time. If I'm not all smiley & happy it is because you just wasted an hour of my time! If they don't care enough to get a paying customer in the door, then I need to find another art school for my daughter. read more
