The location to my home here in Kailua is a non-factor other than the convenience of doing a much needed walk in as I did today. I would drive or fly to get this magnificent 90 minute deep tissue therapeutic massage treatment as performed by master massage therapist "Adi" Wow! I almost hate to disclose her name after experiencing her professional touch and exceptional pressure, technical application and attention to details like my joints that have limited range of motion. A massage is always a topic at work and when mentioned one day a friend told me that I had to go to Nori Kohana Massage Therapy and the enthusiasm she gave about this place already had me excited as she describes her sessions and experiences here is always so amazing. Since I needed to book two separate sessions I decided to give them a call to make it easier to find though you're still able to do so at your own leisure online is nice so that you're able to see what's available without the pressure to book a session on the spot. Located in the Enchanted Lake area in Kailua on Keolu Drive it's very easy to miss as they're tucked in the tiny corner in a tiny shopping area right across from McDonald's as I drove by a couple times before realizing where it is lol! Though they do have free parking it is shared with a few other biz it can fill up quite fast and since it's a dead end parking it can get tricky but let me tell you it's so worth it. What's unique about this place is that you're able to book session with a beginner intern to a licensed therapist and what's better than having someone who has a passion to work on this precious gift which heals and gives relief to someone that needs it so desperately. I walked in to check in and loved the decor of the place which gave it a slight beachy vibe and various healing merchandises is so nice and comforting, I was immediately taken to my room which was very nice and so calming as the therapist was very nice as she asked my problem area and what I wanted to focus on along with the pressure that I'm comfortable with was so nice and just relaxing. Loved my massage and the relief that it had given me as I felt myself falling asleep several times tells you how relaxed I was and that is something worth escaping to. Thank you!

When we arrived they had us take off our shoes and gave us sandals to use, we also selected scents for the rooms and our tea preference. While the space is too small for couples massages, we were able to go in the steam together and after we went into a room to drink our water/tea and relax ahead of the massage. Once they took us into the room the music was relaxing and they did a great job to ask where to focus and check in to make sure the pressure wasn't too much/too little. I had A LOT of tension in my back. While she was working on some problem areas I asked some questions about why it might be so tense/painful and it definitely was a mix of working out the pain to feel relief. The big takeaway was that I shouldn't go years between massages. After the massage we went back to the relaxation room and drank more water before heading out to pay.
