I used MR to replace the battery in my macbook (Apple had issued a recall for fault batteries)…read more I chose them because they're closer and I could get an appointment immediately, unlike at Apple's stores. I asked them if in addition to the battery replacement whether they could replace the keyboard, which I would pay for. They came back and said that the keyboard is replaced as part of the battery replacement, so got it all done for free. Another store might have not acted that way... They said it would take 5-7 working days (for the part to arrive) and it did indeed take 5 and I'm very happy.

Through the whole process I slowly started to realise I was being taken for a ride by nothing less than an illusory claiming to be an Apple expert. I've ended up with more issues than I started with. Do you have a problem with your Mac and you need help very quickly? Look no further - you have…read morefound the right place - the specialists at the Mac Response Centre will help you! Here is what had happened to me and how they have helped me: A bottle of water had leaked in my handbag and caused horrible liquid damage on my MacBook Pro (mid-2015, 15inch). The water got inside the Retina display, and the screen did not light up anymore. Another repair shop that I contacted initially claimed that the damage was beyond repair. But I urgently need the MacBook for my work, and I cannot live without it. Thus, in a state near total despair, I contacted the Mac Response Centre hoping that they would be able to help me - and they absolutely did! I could not have had any more positive experience: They immediately got in touch and had a look at the computer as soon as I arrived. They ran various diagnostics to find out what the exact problem was. It turned out that the main board was still functioning but needed ultra-sonic cleaning to avoid/remove corrosion and that the screen would need to be replaced. The replacement screen was delivered within very quickly (within two days), and I was able to collect the computer immediately on the same day as soon as the screen had been delivered. While I was waiting for the screen to be replaced, I was provided with a replacement MacBook Pro (in which my own hard drive had been inserted), so that I did not lose any further work time. The total price for all of this was extremely reasonable (in particular, compared to what some of the other options were that I had considered before, such as buying a refurbished or new machine). On a final note, I would like to add that the staff working at the Mac Response Centre are not only highly competent and helpful, but also very welcoming, kind, polite, and friendly. In total, the repair service was extremely professional, very fast, friendly and reasonably priced. I would like to strongly and warm-heatedly recommend this service to anyone who experiences any Mac problem. Therefore, very solid five stars (it should be six!) for how excellent and competent the service was and for how well I was treated as a customer here. I am endlessly grateful for your help - Thanks a million!

I went a while ago with my mac because it is closer than the apple store. they tested my mac and told me they could fix it for GBP450 ! Next day I went to apple store Covent Garden. They checked my Mac and it wasn't too bad. I could leave it there and they would let me know when it was ready. The following day I was contacted by them that I could pick it up. Cost: GBP 31 !! Now it runs like new and very I am very happy...about the Apple store and that I did not waste too much money on those dicks from 'response center'. Bunch of Crooks. My advice: NEVER GO THERE !!

You can't go wrong. I would never buy another Sony, their customer service is absolutely the worst I have every used and they wanted $600 to repair it without even looking at it. My Sony Vaio laptop died this summer in the Alps. The evening I arrived back in London, I called…read moreSony Laptop Repairs and was given an appointment for the next morning, starting at 8:30am. The lady on the phone said that my laptop would be checked while I wait and I'd be given a quote. When I arrive, early morning, I find out that I had to leave my precious laptop because James doesn't arrive before 11am. I decide not to and go back from I came from, on the other side of London, on the Tube. At 11am I come back and meet James, who examines my laptop in front of me and gives me a £75 quote for cleaning the fan, saying that if the fan needs to be replaced he won't be able to do so because he doesn't have the fan replacement part. Since I have already spent my morning in the Tube, going back and forth from Sloane Square, he kindly offers me to do it straight away, while I wait, in order to avoid me a 3rd trip there to collect the laptop the next day. After 45 minutes and he comes out with my laptop fixed. The repair has a 3 month guaranty and, in addition to this, he says that if my laptop dies within 2 weeks time I'll get a full refund of the £75 paid for fixing it. This was a month ago and my laptop is still working. Hope it lasts. I decided to post here because when I found this company online, while I was still in Val d'Isere, I was happy to find Tony S. review here, which gave me some hope that my laptop could be fixed, when back in London. Because when I had driven down from Val d'Isere to Bourg St Maurice in the valley, Christophe from JBSoft, had charged me €24 just to tell me that he couldn't fix it. Update 9 Dec 15 My laptop failed just 1 week after the 3 months guaranty. My luck :-( I went back there to see James who tried to find a fan online to replace the one in my Vaio but could not find any. He then offered me to clean the fan again for £40 without guaranty but I decided not to. He kindly gave me some advice for buying a new laptop other than Vaio, since Sony stopped making them.
