Bernie is the BEST floral arranger ever!! When we first met with him, he was able to take charge and guide us through every possible need we could imagine. His slide show was so varied and up-to-date; arranged by color scheme, he went right to what we were describing and showed us the variations. I'm not kidding, we were done in 30 minutes! Never did I imagine that such beautiful selections could be right at our fingertips. When it came time for the delivery the weather had turned scorching and Bernie waited until the last minute to set everything out to avoid wilting. I called in my order from long distance and these people were so incredibly responsive. The arrangement I sent, they knew I would never actually see (because I was long distance) was absolutely gorgeous. They texted me a picture of it--which I've never had a florist offer to do. We got married last Sunday in Pasadena, and absolutely loved the floral arrangements for our ceremony and reception!! Bernie was a true pleasure to work with. We were not especially articulate in terms of what we wanted beyond knowing roughly what colors we'd like to see. Bernie did an amazing job at our wedding! He paid attention to every single details and transformed the flowers from the arch used to ceremony ON-SITE into arrangement to be used for our cocktail hour (to save us money). Our colors were sky blue, white, and natural greenery. There was a lot of work into arranging different types of greenery. He made each arrangement so dynamic and lively. He asked helpful questions that helped us capture what we wanted. Since we are an interracial couple, he also asked questions (of course, related to flower arrangement) to make sure the arrangement made sense from two different cultural backgrounds. Our day-of coordinator and other vendors who also saw him work on our wedding day described him as very professional and considered his work very artistic. My wife just received her Hong Kong roses for Valentine's Day and she definitely is very impressed. Among all the flowers I have sent to her so far, she said this was definitely at the very top. I've ordered flowers from other shops that did HK roses and although they were all great in their own way, the roses themselves were somewhat lacking. Bernie did a great job in my request to have the roses in full bloom and beautiful. I highly recommend this shop and will be back for more when needed! WOW!! I found Bernie from all of the Yelp reviews and was hoping for the best when I retained him as our wedding flower vendor. Bernie was very professional and friendly and knew exactly what I wanted when I was stumbling around for descriptions of floral arrangements. When he delivered them personally on our wedding day, the floral arrangements for our altar, bouquet, my flower girl arrangements, and table arrangements took my breath away! We were in an absolute panic less than a month before our wedding since the original florist we had hired was not going to be able to deliver what we wanted. Incredible florist with great customer service and eye for beauty! Planning my wedding from a far, I was able to get a concise quote over the phone with him, and he offered flexibility in meeting with him. He knew exactly what I wanted once I gave him some color schemes, and knew which flowers and greens would complement each other well. For bride-to-be who was indecisive in everything, he really made my job easy by offering great solutions. He is incredibly friendly and very professional. He offered to have a sample centerpieces, and made changes with me that resulted in beautiful arrangements. When I found out my grandma was too sick to make my wedding, I called Bernie to make a small centerpiece for her just hours before I got to see her. I was so grateful this and it meant so much to her. On the day of, everything was delivered and set up perfectly. My bouquet was beyond beautiful. If I had to do a list of the vendors I was happiest with on my wedding day, Creative Floral Designs would be number one. I happened upon this place during the time I was planning my wedding as it is located just down the street from my house and is in the same center where we would go to do laundry. I was having the absolute WORST time finding a florist and in all honesty, it was my least favorite thing to have to decide on but than I met Bernie. Right from the start it was like he was reading my mind. This man is a creative genius for sure and talk about reasonable prices. After I went to a florist prior that wanted to charge me exactly HALF of what I paid for my venue (with a completely open bar mind you) I was pretty burned. Bernie did an amazing job. He worked with us on everything. He actually met with me twice to work on the design for the centerpieces and he was so flexible about everything. I also picked a less common flower for the season to use most of and damnit all if he didn't come through and get them. On the day of my wedding, I walked into the reception area to wait prior to the ceremony. Bernie walked up, handed me my bouquet and I almost started to cry. We engaged Creative Florist for our wedding on the cruise. Bernie did an amazing job with the flowers, the arch decorations, and centerpieces turned out absolutely amazing! It was simply gorgeous! I ordered a corsage and boutonniere here for prom two days right before (Thursday). The flowers were in excellent condition and the sizes were really nice. They give an option between regular and large. Just go with the regular because people commented on how big the regular was in comparison to other corsages at other florists. Btw, King's Florist did not accept orders on Thursday, but this place did. read more
