First experience was great with the owner of the business. Second time I went when the lady owner was not there and the service was terrible. I went in and waited a few moments to be acknowledged. I told the man that was working that I wanted around a $100 bouquet. He told me "you need to leave and come back later". Instead of telling me, a $100 bouquet is going to take 30 or more minutes or even start a conversation of what I wanted or what could be done, he told me to leave. So I left, and I will not be coming back. Instead I went to my old florist in Fullerton called "Sarah's flowers" where I got my bouquet done in 15 minutes. Very friendly staff, personable and helpful. While other florists have told me they only have what they have.... this florist has regular deliveries and so the flowers I want typically are the freshest I can find and also plentiful. I was especially impressed when I needed several bundles of alstroemeria for my mom's 80th birthday party. Not only did they get plenty of fresh in stock for me, they offered to pull more from the truck that day when it arrived (should I need more) and they also had offered every color available for me to choose from! The flowers opened up and looked GORGEOUS all day of the party and long into the weeks afterward. Small parking lot, but always able to find a spot. What gives it a failing grade is the awful attitude and customer service (from Kristin). I ordered a couple bouquets that were overpriced so I thought they'd have the decency to get good fresh flowers. But many of the flowers are old and dying/dead. You can smell the rot. My now husband and I were so thankful for Kris in helping us from the start to the end (as it can be overwhelming), always staying on top of communication and being SO organized. From the beginning when I reached out, Kris had me share Pinterest examples of what I was looking for. From there we had an in person consultation where I was able to go through the details of each floral service needed (ie. bouts, corsages, bouquets, gazebo decor convertible to sweetheart table). Kris took down all names and on the day of everything was delivered to each specific person! It could not have gone any smoother. Kris was extremely communicative, professional, easy to work with and so helpful throughout the whole entire process. Thank you to Kris and Mario for being there on the wedding day to make sure everything was set up smoothly. Especially because we had asked to transport the gazebo decor we would used for the ceremony onto our sweetheart table for the reception. Everything was done perfectly. Also, during the planning process, Kris was so flexible and willing to work with us regarding pricing options. Initially we had all tables with centerpieces, however to cut down on some costs, we decided to have some tables that would just have either candles & greenery or repurposing the bridesmaids bouquets which turned out great. The dozen roses Blooming Hills delivered to my wife for our anniversary were expertly arranged and were generously adorned with baby's breath and green leaves. This is one of the best flower gifts we've seen, and it looks like it was put together with great care. My only wish is that we could have specified a delivery time in the online order. They arrived at 2:00 PM, which is ideal, but knowing this in advance would have been helpful. Delightfully surprised for Mother's Day with the most gorgeous bouquet I have ever seen! The arrangement was fresh, full, aromatic, and the blooms were extraordinarily large. Wow!!! This place is AMAZING. They honestly couldn't have made me any happier with the flowers for our wedding. I walked in with what I thought would be easy to make. Turns out, flowers are not naturally dusty rose color. The photos I had, the flowers were either painted or silk. However that didn't stop Kris or Linda when designing my bouquets. They told me having the flowers painted wouldn't be the best because it was a summer wedding and they would wilt. Instead, they used a combination of pinks to create the look I was going for and wow, was it perfect. We sat down on a Saturday morning for about an hour going through photos and they showed me ideas and I'd tell them yes or no. To be honest, I know little to nothing when it comes to flowers so I had NO idea what any names were. I went with their recommendations for everything and I'm SO glad I did. I mean look at the photos!! Breathtaking! Their customer service is just on point. when they dropped off our flowers the day of, everything was labeled WITH NAMES. All the wedding party, mothers, fathers, grandparents. I was blown away with how organized and professional they were. I also asked for some cake flowers and that's all I said. No description or anything. When I saw it that night I was shocked with the beauty! My sister's flower crown was also adorable. And yes, in the photo, that is the florist, Kris, who stayed and helped us put it on her!! Does it get better than them?! NO. I have never had such amazing customer service from a florist. I am a bride on a budget that has researched many florists. I have had bad experiences in the past with ones who said I wasn't worth working with if I didn't want to spend $2,000-3,000. But Kris went above and beyond to map out a floral plan for the whole wedding. Her work is absolutely beautiful. She is willing to work hard to create designs and plans that work for you. Within the same appointment, she also helped design a plan for my mom who is having a very simple ceremony for her second marriage. She can do anything from simple to large scale.
