Their service was phenomenal! As with all events whenever there is more than 1 person involved, there can be miscommunication/ misunderstandings, my daughter's wedding was no exception. But what was most impressive was the ease of communication to correct, adjust and move on without damage to the rapport and comradery of the relationship. The genuine joy for my daughter and my son-in-love's wedding remained intact. This is true professionalism. Another worthy note was the compassion extended when an unforeseen situation occurred. While being able to pivot, is a necessary skill to have in the event planning industry, doing so with grace and compassion is a gift that cannot be taught. To Ravin, Amanda, and your entire team for your dedication and ALL of your hard work: May God's mercy and grace relentlessly pursue you, overtake and overwhelm you, with HIS abundant love, peace and joy. Abundant Blessings, Ms Cooks, MOB

They made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera, and they were great with our rowdy bridal party and family members. We didn't just get posed photos; we got photos that actually look like us. We were deeply disappointed with our experience. Darby was professional and kind in our initial…read moreonline interactions, and we were excited to book her. Unfortunately, her presence on the wedding day and the final product were very different from what was advertised. She seemed distant and distracted throughout the day, barely engaged with us, and did not take time to get to know us or offer direction. Several key moments--especially the large group photo and our couple portraits--were rushed, poorly composed, and lacked basic guidance. Important details were missed, lighting was harsh, and many images were unflattering or unusable. When we raised our concerns respectfully, they were dismissed as "personal preference," and requests for reasonable edits or a fair resolution were denied. We paid $350 per hour, including a full hour set aside for getting-ready photos with my sisters. Darby did not pose us or provide any direction, and those photos turned out so badly they're honestly crushing to look at. The best photos we have from our wedding were taken by friends on their iPhones, which has been incredibly embarrassing--we've had to ask guests if they have anything usable to share. Her profile and portfolio show one level of care and quality, but what she delivered was very different. We only have a handful of usable photos from the gallery. I wish I had taken the one negative review on Zola more seriously--it ended up being spot on. Paying full price for what felt like amateur-level effort has been heartbreaking. You can never re-shoot your wedding photos.

She values each couples vision and uses her creativity to make it all that you want it to be. I told Brandy that I wanted lots of greenery, books & candles and she came through. She added such unique touches, including the outside decor and ceremony set up. Brandy has a clear history in the wedding business because of how smooth our day went. She communicated all arrival and set up times with vendors, she was flexible with scheduling when necessary, she had our food and drink of choice ready for us when we entered the reception, she (kindly) encouraged guests to let us eat before socializing, etc. etc. etc. I did not worry about a single thing once the wedding began, and it's because of how much time and effort she dedicated to preparing with me before hand. We both come from families with a "all hands on deck" mentality. Our family showed up early and was shocked that it was all handled and they could just RELAX. Which was exactly the goal. We 100% would choose to use Black Nor White Events again!
