Good selection of linen colors, fabrics and styles for any table design you are trying to do. I used them for my parents anniversary part and paid around $130 for 8 organza overlays, 1 tablecloth, and 1 satin runner. The service was friendly but they didn't seem to know their inventory very well or trust that their computer system was right. It appears they also offer other party rental supplies but I did not utilize them for those items. Pick up and drop off was easy and they provided the bags for the dirty cloths. We rented the tent and linens for our wedding this past April from Comal Rental. My mom interfaced with them mostly but I did have some interaction as well. Our wedding was at a venue that they said they frequently set tents up at. They assured us that a 20x50 ft tent would fit in the area we wanted it in. We eyed the area and disagreed but were assured that it would fit. Well, when the tent showed up...it didn't fit. Luckily the table configuration we decided on fitted under a smaller tent and the rental company had a smaller tent for us that day. I can only imagine how awful it would have been to not have a tent at all with our dinner just before sunset in 90 degree weather! Also, with the linen rental they did not supply us with clasps to secure the table cloths to the table. My sister had to call them frantically and go pick them up a few hours before the ceremony when the table cloths kept flipping everything off the table. Little things like the size of the area and the clips would have made the day go my smoother but at the end of the day everything worked out and they provided us with a pretty decent price. They refunded my card for using the smaller tent without needing to be reminded about it and I really appreciated that. read more

We used Comal Event Rental for my daughter's wedding June 22 and am so happy we went with them. We ended up having an issue on staking the large tents due to the rocky hill country, but they worked and came up with a perfect solution. Rebecca and Tom were so easy to work with and so helpful. Their pricing is very reasonable and they arrived exactly when they said they would and picked up everything exactly when they said they would. My first experience on the phone with them was not a good one. I had questions and was told to email them. So I emailed them and my questions were answered. The day of my wedding, I was told the delivery would arrive at 11. I received a call saying they were behind and it would be noon. When the delivery arrived I received a phone call saying they wouldn't be able to deliver because there was a hill. Imagine my horror when I look out the window and see my 69 year old dad and 65 year old uncle carrying tables for the delivery men. They made a stressful day even more stressful. The delivery men were lazy and just watched as my family and friends did their job. I do not recommend this company to anyone. I would advise looking for a company who has employees who are not lazy. read more

I used Comal Rental because they are the biggest name in town right now for party rentals. I wish I had known of other options. In the beginning we were optimistic that my wedding day would go smoothly as we had payed extra for Comal Rental to remove the chairs we had rented from them from the venue. It was clearly stated in the contract that the rental company would pick up linens and chairs at 11pm on the day of the event for the price agreed upon. When the time came to fulfill the contract, Comal Rental would not honor the chair pick up service because it was "too dark". I'm sorry but what do you think the light is going to look like at ELEVEN PM? Unfortunately, words had to be exchanged between the owner and my new Mother in law and the venue assistant in order to get the desired actions. If you're paid extra to pick up chairs at an agreed upon time, then Do IT! read more

I just had my wedding on May 19th of 2018 and Comal helped me SO much! First, the napkins they order from their warehouse was the wrong color(they ordered silver but the warehouse sent charcoal) but as soon as they came in Comal worked to solve the problem right away! I had my napkins for the big day! Lastly, I didn't order enough plates and glasses for the wedding (only 8 short), but I had my groom go to Comal to see if we could order more and sure enough they were more than happy to work with us! I called Comal rentals for some items I needed for my wedding and was told I would get a call back the same day letting me know if they had what I needed. After no call back I called the next day and was told they were very busy but were working on my quote. I called about twice weekly for the next 2-3 weeks and was told each time they were still working on my quote. At this time I was so close to my wedding date, I was getting worried. I sent an email asking to please at least let me know that they had the items I needed and I could wait for the actual quote. The next day I got an email saying they would not be able to rent to me. I feel that they had the items I requested considering I was told they were working on a quote but because I was requesting it get to me in a reasonable time frame they wouldn't even work with me. Thank goodness for Whim event rentals in dripping springs. I called them after being treated so rudely by Comal rentals and they got a quote to me the same day I called. read more
