I have never bought a computer from these folks or had one repaired. I simply don't use them for…read morethat. I tend to use them like an amateur mechanic goes to an auto parts store. In terms of these requirements they have done some stuff in the past, that I will not discuss. Lets just say, I will not buy memory or processors from them. No bare chips. I would pick up graphics cards, hard drives, maybe even a motherboard. In this area they have been pretty useful. A last minute requirement will usually direct me here. Something I would usually get from a online supplier, I can often find a suitable substitute here. This is the bigger brother of its Argyle Street sibling. I usually find that they have more selection. Especially in the graphic cards arena. They are not an overclockers or modders paradise but they sometimes can surprise you with the stock that they do have. Finally, as I said about the other store - they usually have the best prices on optical media. Buy a spindle - save yourself a bundle.

Not a bad selection of new and pre-owned games for quite a small store. However, they were doing their best, staying cheerful and they apologised for our wait - I can't really blame them that their store is busy. It definitely feels busier in part due to the layout. I guess because it's quite a small plot the aisles are really narrow so that they can fit lots of stock in and I honestly don't know if there is a better option other than moving to a location with more room. Given the way people shop for games (slowly browsing titles, either looking for something specific or just for any good deals) once you have four or five people in the store it can be quite tricky to navigate without fear of knocking things over. As with most branches of Game they have new and pre-owned games available for the major consoles and PC as well as accessories and peripherals, a little miscelaneous merchandise, some DVDs and blu-rays and pre-owned items like smartphones and tablets, as well as the consoles themselves and gift cards. Points can be earned on the free loyalty card (or app) and then put towards future purchases. I really like the 3 for 2 offer on pre-owned games because I find it hard to justify playing full price for new releases. If you can get something that was released a couple of years ago (and that hence has plenty of full reviews for you to read online) for only ~£5 that seems like a pretty good deal, even more so with the 3 for 2 offer. Plus they give you a guarantee that it will work for a year, which is the same as a new game anyway. I wish the store were slightly larger, but otherwise it's a decent place to stop for almost all your gaming needs.

The various games were put under the different consolue groups and they stocked a range of pre owned games. I did notice one pre owned game being sold for the same amount as the new game so it must be popular. I found this store to be bright but quite tight to move around in as it was busy. Although the staff were busy they made time to help me a big thing for someone who does not really know much about the computer games etc.
