The poncho was not long enough to cover the top of the lower leg and shoe covers. I had a pair of pants get ruined by the bright acrylic paint that hit me right at the exposed inch of pant leg and I had to then wear those pants to a nicer dinner... little embarrassing. They should definitely consider adding an option of a longer version of the poncho. Tall people beware!

We went tonight to Galway Arms and painted a fall scene. Our artists name was Jason and he was really great. He explained all the different brushes and how to mix the paints and he divided the steps up really easily. It took about 3 hours to paint, which was okay. I just wish it was a little shorter but there were 40 people in class so this is me being picky. I thought it was a lot of fun and is definitely something you do either as a couple or as a group. Never able to realize it: just received notice of the 3rd time that the event I purchased was cancelled suddenly. Absolutely ridiculous. My friend group no longer trusts the events I try to make because they fall through every. single. time. To be honest, it might be the artist's fault since all three were the same artist. (Is there any consequence to them for that? There should be. I would've guaranteed enough people to make it worth it). Regardless, Paintnite staff was not very accommodating, either. They make apologies and say they can take requests, but actually will not (or cannot). What a joke. At some point real soon I am going to demand a full *cash* refund. "Rescheduling" is a joke. 3 years of looking and sifting through the crappy offerings in downtown Chicago area with NOTHING to show for it? Not worth it. I am not even excited about trying it anymore - I can do better by myself. Third time's a charm, I guess. TLDR: sudden cancellations, no refunds, extremely poorly run organization. Do not recommend.

There were 13 of us in a class to paint a decorated tree in the beautiful outdoors. Our instructor was very good. She led us, step by step, to make the tree all better than we thought we could upon entry. There were plenty of breaks to get paint to dry, and that made the experience the full two hours. She was also willing to take photos of groups at the end. There are drinks and snacks available and near by bathrooms, so you can keep yourself busy during those breaks. It was also reasonable for the amount of time spent, and for being able to take something home with you...$35/person. We will be back!
