The owner Nick is a friend and veteran. I checked out his website and decided to pick 5 lunch options for the week. As a full time worker I caught myself going out to eat often during the week with co workers and would often spend $15-20 per meal (drink, chips, side, etc.). It added up. Nicks meals cut my costs in half and allowed me to save time by eating at the office instead of driving to restaurants. Placing the order online was very easy and putting your order in by Thursday, gets you your delivery by Sunday with no added costs! So it's very easy to plan your weekly meals. All of his meals were delicious but my favorites that i tried were the Teriyaki pineapple chicken and nani's meatballs. All of his meals tasted very fresh for being in my fridge up to a week. I found myself having so much more energy at the gym and cycle classes after work. I thank nicks clean meals for giving me that extra power. I ordered his meals again for the next week and this time got the bigger 10oz size. Would highly recommend you all to try at least a few of his dishes, you won't be disappointed! read more

I chowed down on Creative Caveman's BREAKFAST BOWL at TASTE OF PALEO and I have to say, it was certainly one of, if not, MY FAVORITE dish at the venue... and I tried them all (as I was a good judge). The flavors were on point! The bison was delicious and not overly seasoned with herbs and spices so as to mask the naturally delicious flavor of the meat, and the veggies lent an awesome mouthfeel while the sweet potatoes gave the dish a hint of sweetness. Top it off with a delicious HOMEMADE spicy (but not too spicy) aioli and.... I've got myself a winner dish! Now... there were TWO other judges, so I really do not know if Creative Caveman actually won the competition, but as you just read, they have my vote- and I would loveeeeeee to try more of their offerings! read more

I have been ordering food from Creative Caveman for several months now. The reason I started using their service is because I wanted to eat healthier and meal prep but had no idea how to start or what was "good" to throw into a meal prep. After staring to use their services, I was pleased to see how easy it all is, I place my order on Thursday and my food is delivered very early Sunday and Wednesday morning in a temperature controlled box with ice packs. The thing that stands out the most from their foods is the flavor, I have yet to have a meal that is bland, everything is well seasoned and full of flavor. My personal favorite meals are the almond waffles with eggs and bacon for breakfast, Sriracha chicken with chile and lime potatoes for lunch and the beef ribeye with mash and roasted lemon pepper squash for dinner. They recently added all the nutritional information as well as ingredients to their meals so it is now easier to enter the information into apps such as My Fitness Pal. The customer service for Creative Caveman is also top notch. There have been times where either due to website or an error on my part that a double order has been placed, each time, I received a call to verify if I meant to do that because they saw that my order was out of the ordinary. Once verified that I had made a mistake, a refund was issued on the same day. They also send out reminder text messages which have helped me remember to get my order in before the cutoff time. Finally, the results! My crossfit box had a body fat weight loss challenge, all I made sure to do was to eat my creative caveman meals and go to my box every day, after four weeks, I am down 14 pounds all thanks to eating clean and working out every day. Needless to say, I am very happy to use their service and I recommend it to everyone. Every day, I get comments at work that my food looks and smells so good and you know what? I accidentally found Creative Caveman on Instagram when I was searching for Blue Apron. When I went on Yelp to check them out and this and other meal prep services also popped up. I looked over Creative Caveman's menu and was impressed. I called my husband at work and told him I found Creative Caveman and wanted to try them out. We have been looking for a good meal service - we have tried other services in the past but they had dry and/or bland food. We tried Creative Caveman for 1 week and their food is delicious! We love the food and have ordered for next week and will continue to use them from now on. Nick is a Marine veteran and I believe in supporting veteran owned businesses. They deliver and my husband doesn't eat out with his co-workers anymore. If you are looking for a meal prep service, give Creative Caveman a shot. They have some very good food! read more

I randomly found Creative Caveman on Instagram, of all places. I've been an active Crossfitter for about 3 years now, and I have been familiar with the paleo diet. I had always wanted to get into it, but the reality of it was that it was much too time intensive to shop for and cook all the food. It's also rather expensive when you first start out. You have to buy a bunch of ingredients that you might not even use much of. Those were just some of the factors that prevented me from going full paleo. Enter Nick. I contacted Nick to find out more about his meal delivery service. There aren't too many meal prep services in this area (most seem to serve LA only), so I was very surprised to find out that he delivered to this area. I messaged him on IG to get more info and that was the start of a great relationship. The top selling points for me were: 1. He is a Marine Corps veteran, so you would be supporting a veteran owned business. As a member of a military family, that is something I try to do. 2. He provides FANTASTIC customer service. Nick is quick to respond to any inquiries and always tries to take care of the customer. When I first started ordering, there were some annoying issues with the website. If he hadn't been so nice, I don't think I would have ordered from him again. But because I could tell he was trying really hard to address the problem (and it was largely outside of his control), I was willing to be patient too. I'm glad I was. 3. The food is delicious! Many of the paleo foods I've had in the past were bland or just plain weird. All his dishes are well cooked (chicken is juicy, even after a week) and packaged nicely too. If you are not sold, at least try the 5 meal option...after that, you won't even want to go out to eat with your co-workers. One of the reasons I held back on the meal prep and delivery service was because I thought I couldn't afford it. But after buying a bunch of groceries and watching it mostly rot in the fridge because I never got around to actually cooking, I began to re-evaluate my choices. I thought about how much I spend going out to lunch and dinner on a daily basis and what I was actually paying for. The amount that I spend per meal from Nick is about the same (even less) than what I spend going out, but I know I'm getting healthy, good quality food that actually tastes good too. There should be absolutely no reason to reach out to him and try his food. He's very good about giving free samples, so don't be shy and ask. You won't regret it! read more

They are great! I used to fight with my boyfriend every time we came back for the gym and we would just end up spending a lot of money on take out that wasn't healthy. The food is great. Small portions but they do fill you up. The owner of this place personally delivers your food and answers to his text messages even at 5am on Monday morning. The box is always there when I wake up on Mondays and the menu changes every week so that it's a surprise when you open the box. Would highly recommend it. The price is much more affordable than other food services and the quality is excellent. I do lunch and dinner 5x a week. It's around $118 including delivery and taxes. read more

Really enjoy Creative Caveman's food! There really haven't been that many dishes that I disliked. If anything they are somethings that I'm not used to, however, still taste just as well. Creative Caveman delivers fresh, amazingly delicious Paleo meals TO YOUR DOOR. I have never tried any other meal delivery service, but from what I have seen CC meals are top-notch.
