I had a soda and was charged $4.25 for a small, ice filled jar that had very little soda in it. I was asked if I wanted a refill, and said yes. Twice. The third was after I was done with my meal. I was charged $4.25 for each refill. I had no problem paying $24 for a burger and %16 for my wife's sangria. I have a real problem paying $12.75 for as much soda as I can get in a 12 oz. can. This feels like I was ripped off. If you are going to charge for refills you should be upfront about it, give a reasonable amount of soda in each glass, and charge a reasonable amount per glass ($2.50?). I would come back for the food, but feel like I was taken advantage of for no reason other than they could.

But a lot still needed to be done the day of (set up the ceremony chairs outside, stick to the timeline, tell guests where to go, and when, etc.) Last minute, we decided we needed help making sure things were perfect on the day of. The best thing I can say is that, as the bride, I literally didn't have to worry about a single thing that day other than getting ready, showing up, and being married. And we were able to enjoy our time with all our guests instead of worrying about the small details that come up throughout the day. I gave Ben our proposed timeline ahead of time, and he made sure everything happened on time, and as expected. If anything wasn't running smoothly, I had no clue because he took care of it and then some. The fact that I didn't have to worry about setup, the timeline, and coordinating the catering staff was a HUGE factor in what made our day so perfect, and a giant success. Off -Premise was to be our safety net, there to assist the caterer's staff and troubleshoot as needed. Little did we know that Ben's expertise would save the day! In addition to handling the list of tasks we assigned him, he recognized that the wait staff was not on schedule with serving dinner and put them back on track by taking orders and serving meals. He continuously worked through the whole event, actually running, through the venue, making sure everything was perfect and all the while checking in with us, asking if we needed anything.
