Trust me, I absolutely love the cakes from here. The problem I have is if you're going to be successful. You also need to have employees who know a thing or two about what they're actually selling. I even asked how long should I keep the cake out for the best experience? Even I know it should probably sit out for 3 hours or so and these girls looked at each other as if I was absolutely crazy asking that question. Please teach these employees about the product that they are selling and if they don't like a flavor, that's fine. You need to have them engaged and talk about what they actually like that they're selling it. Just flabbergasted me. It's almost as if they're looking at me like why are you here? Please leave. Why are you eating this crap? Just an awful experience by the employees you hire. Please retrain your employees who talk to the customers. When I opened my bag to try my cakes a few hours later, the girl gave me the wrong cake.

You can tell how truly passionate she is about cake and making sure all of her clients have the best experience possible. The tasting was also very fun and it was fun that we got to take home a second box in order to try all of the flavors again to make an informed decision! Onto the cake! We decided with a chocolate cake with chocolate fudge on one side, and a white cake with vanilla icing on the other side, these sides separated by the Italian buttercream. I will be dreaming about her Italian buttercream for the rest of my life. As a dessert connoisseur, I had high expectations for my wedding cake, and this cake exceeded them. The chocolate side was rich and the perfect amount of sweet. You could really taste the true chocolate flavors. The white cake was exceptional as well, with a perfect sweet vanilla frosting. The Italian buttercream was buttery, smooth, and truly the perfect middle divide for the cake as it matched both sides very well. I really have not tasted a better wedding cake and our guests were obsessed with the cake too so that just goes to show how quality and incredible the cake it. Truly all of it was an elevated and quality take on classic flavors. I am so so happy we got our wedding cake from here. Truly the most delicious cake I've ever eaten and our guests agree. We couldn't even wait a year to eat the anniversary cake we generously received so that is completely eaten already, so we will definitely just be getting a new one every year to enjoy the cake over and over again and we are so excited to continue to support Jo-Anne and her lovely business. Let me share a story about my husband's 52nd birthday. He's been on a keto diet for the past four years, and he wanted a cake for his birthday. This was all decided last minute when he decided he wanted a party and a keto cake for his birthday, with the party just three days away. I went into panic mode, I invited our friends, picked the place, and made the invitations, but then came the challenge of finding a keto cake for my husband for his birthday. I googled keto bakeries, and a couple popped up, but one was Skinny Piggy. I called a couple of different places, and unfortunately, they couldn't make the cake so Skinny. Pig was my last resort, so I emailed them, explaining the situation, and they said they weren't sure if they could do it for me, plus they mentioned that their deliveries for the day were full. If anything, they could make the cake, but it would be for the following day after his party, which I couldn't do. I asked wherever they could do would really be appreciated. Not only did they go above and beyond, but they made sure the cake was delivered the day of the party and on time. Monica at Skinny Pig not only made sure the cake was made properly but also added it to the delivery list to be delivered to the restaurant just enough time for my husband's birthday. I can't express how amazing Skinny Piggy is and how they went above and beyond for this experience. If you need a cake, just make sure you order a couple of days before the birthday. I highly recommend them, especially since I'm not on keto, but I did try the cake, and it was absolutely amazing. It was the lemon berry cake , and the cake was delicious. My husband ate most of it by himself the next couple of days, but overall, it was an experience I will never forget. Thank you so much, Skinny Piggy , and thank you, Monica, for going above and beyond. If you need a keto cake or any type of dessert, I highly recommend them.
