He took into consideration my lack of knowledge and basically planted two idiot-proof (and deer-proof) garden areas at the front and back of my property. All I need to do is water and prune and my garden will continue to flourish and grow year after year. Ivan's company also carried out the removal of a large tree that was blocking the sun and creating a mess in my yard and my neighbour's. I had just thought to prune the tree, but I'm so glad I took Ivan's advice and had it removed entirely. It has made a huge difference to the look and feel of my front yard and has brought a great deal more light into the whole area. Fortunately, he wasn't paid for anything that he hadn't done so I didn't lose money, but I was still disappointed. There are far too many people out there claiming to run businesses, especially landscaping, who often don't have the skills and/or proper business practices to keep their customers satisfied and their businesses financially viable. They really give a bad name to other competent landscaping businesses that do excellent work and treat their customers fairly.
