From the very first visit, they were professional, friendly, honest, and incredibly reliable. They transformed our yard space into something we are genuinely proud of. They made it so we felt comfortable and happy enjoying our yard and garden spaces - something we had been avoiding. Chris is always on time, communicative about any issues or concerns, works efficiently and always leaves the property spotless! The committment to quality and customer satisfaction is obvious in everything they do and is what brought us from a "one time mow only" to regular, consistent visits. It's refreshing to work with a company that takes such pride in their work and consistently exceeds expectations. If you're looking for dependable, high-quality lawn care and landscaping services, I highly recommend them. They deliver outstanding results every time, and our property has never looked better. Five stars all the way!

They were already maintaining and servicing our irrigation system and we were pleased with that level of service. Our front yard however, needed a complete make over! Greg took our design and ideas, tweaked them a little and the results are amazing. He and his team were very easy to work with, were always positive and we felt like we were part of the team. Greg is an excellent listener, honest, very detail oriented, meticulous, very focused and utilizes his team members' skill sets well. He checked with us at every stage that it was what we wanted. Once the project was started, the team was present every day until completion. The weedy, mossy "grass" was removed and replaced with flower beds, river rock, a patio, a pond and a pathway leading to the backyard. The irrigation system was modified to suit the new design. No shortcuts in the project were taken. We would highly recommend Prowest, not only for installation and maintenance of irrigation systems and yard maintenance but also for landscaping projects. They work hard, produce great results, are cost efficient and are excellent to work with.

This summer Greg and his crew removed 1,000 sq. ft of lawn and replaced it with pavers. This labor intensive task included sprinkler line re-routing, removing roots, stumps and ground material-17 tons worth, updating drainage lines and installing pavers in a contoured area. Greg provided a quote with a cost guarantee. He is honest, talented, professional, dependable, a listener, great communicator, thoughtful and provides an excellent role model for his staff. His work is meticulous and precise. We have been very impressed with all facets of the services provided by Pro-West, including working with Sam in the office, irrigation repair and installation staff and the recent landscaping/patio work. We highly recommend Pro-West. They are one of a handful of companies in Parksville/Qualicum area that we rely on and have always been given exceptional, reliable service at reasonable and fair price. If there was a 6th star, they would be deserving.

While the employees who performed the work were friendly and skilled, the overall experience with…read moreMike's Tree Service was highly disappointing. Damage was caused to my 4-month-old insulated garage door during the job (caught on camera). Mike initially acknowledged the damage and advised withholding payment until a resolution was reached. I obtained a quote for the repair as requested, but communication quickly deteriorated. Mike insisted the dents could be "popped out" despite the installer confirming the panels needed replacing. He also visited my property without notice, which was captured on video. When we arranged times for him to bring "his guy" who was sure he "could pop out the dents", he cancelled last minute and failed to follow up, after accusing me of being uncooperative. Although I paid in full to avoid penalizing the workers, I will never hire this company again. The lack of accountability and professionalism makes it impossible to recommend. Luckily, I have a text record of all communication, even though Mike insisted on talking on the phone, I didn't. Update: Over a month and half later and I am still waiting for the receipt I asked for. I've tried calling and no answer. I paid my bill in full, Mike won't take care of the damage they caused to my property.

Although this company came out and did the job in a timely fashion I need to let you know that…read morethere are many hidden costs. Firstly you think you are hiring a company that has their own excavator well they do but they don't. Ken Clark has another business and that business has all the equipment that he rents to do the job and then bills you for the rental of the equipment which by the way is close to $ 1000. and then you are billed for the excavation which is another $1000. By the way this hole that was dug out is 13 x 14 and 25 inches deep. They broke the sewer line and guess how much they charged us to fix it? Let's just say it cost us $58 for piece of 3" pvc. They took away the asphalt but not any soil. Then you have to plead with him to come get his equipment from your place after 4 days of it just sitting there getting in the way. My son paid $600 to have an excavator come and did a much bigger hole...wish I had got the first guy that said he would do the job.

There are two main differences in working with this company, as opposed to others: 1) The work is going to get done better than you envisioned. Adrian takes as much pride in his work as you would. You know when he's there, when he's leaving and when he'll be back. He takes a great deal of pride in his work; it really shows. I had him help me with the landscaping before a September wedding on the lower patio. Everyone commented on how good it looked.
