DJ Buddy was great! Of course, I knew he would be because he was also the DJ for my sister's wedding several years ago! The entire process was straightforward and easy with Ian giving us a packet to fill out with all of our music requests. He also helped me straighten out my timeline for the day in order to make sure the flow was best. There were even some songs that I wanted to make sure were the correct ones because there were other variations out there and Ian actually emailed me to make sure that he had the correct songs, which I thought was pretty awesome. Even after filling out the packet, I had several changes the week of the wedding due to last minute problems and he never made it seem like it was any trouble to change things up. At the end of the day, I just wanted to make sure all my guests had a good time and, afterwards, a lot of people told me that they had a lot of fun or that it was even the most fun they've had at a wedding! DJ Buddy is like no other! My sisters used him for their weddings, and he always was so much fun! He gets the crowd going, knows how to read the room, and is on point with his mixes! I've been to weddings where the DJ is basically just playing what he wants to play, or plays the requested songs from the bride/groom, without much thought to the cohesion of the songs. As a guest at my sisters' weddings, I've always felt like each song was "my jam"...and as a bride, my guests tell me that they had a lot of fun dancing at our wedding and commented on his "dope skills" (true story). We had specific audio announcements, unique songs for our procession, and a grand entrance worthy of the Jordan era Chicago Bulls -- they all sounded uniform despite the fact that not all the tracks may have been professionally edited. While I was in my early wedding planning stages with my husband, I had set on finding videographers that would capture our special day in that modern fairytale type way. Videography was definitely very important to us. We were referred to Creative Bliss Events from our photographer Michael Modino who put them in high regard already. We booked Edmyr and his team pretty early on and it was one our best choices in planning the wedding of our dreams. On the day of our wedding they were prompt and had already plans in action. As a bride who did a majority of the planning (didn't have a full coordinator) this was very comforting. We had a couple of kissing scenes but we felt pretty comfortable with them filming us (definitely something I'm not used to). They gave off a chill vibe almost like we've been friends before.
