My daughter researched this school near her home, visited for a tour and staff sold her quickly. She signed up with a hefty registration fee and first week tuition totaling $350. My grandson's first day was horrific. Staff tried forcing him to lay down for two solid hours, he began to cry, they physically removed him from the classroom using his forearm, then called my daughter to come get him. Needless to say, he will not be returning. They also refused to refund any money after my grandson was there for a grand total of 5 hours. Can't say enough bad things about staff and the experience. If i could add more stars i would, this is hands down one of the best schools i have ever visited. The staff are wonderful, the administration is responsive and the school is clean and very modern. I visited several schools in Marion county and this one was the best one i could find that provided lunch, didn't cost a fortune, and still kept up with my child's needs. The school is very festive and they decorate and celebrate most holidays with the children. On the child's birthday they allow for you to throw them a little party to make them feel special and every year there is a book fair. In addition, they make sure you know how your child is doing - whether its good or bad. The teachers are very attentive to the children and they love them as if they were their own. Lastly, your child will learn so fast with this school! My daughter knew her colors, Shapes, letters and numbers before she was 2 1/2 and at that point she had only been in the school for a year! I promise if you pick this school you will not be disappointing - i cant thank them enough for gifting my child with the amazing skills she has learn thus far! read more

My twins have been going to Creative Beginnings since they were 8 months old. I was really worried about taking them anywhere because they were preemies and I worried about them with others, the staff were great and made me feel comfortable leaving my babies in their care while I went back to work. The office staff is easy to talk to and very helpful when I have questions about anything concerning my babies. It was also very helpful as a single parent of twins that the daycare provided formula, and now diapers and wipes!! My babies are now 3 and absolutely love going to school every day, they are learning so much and have so many friends. They even ask to go to school on the weekends to be with their friends. They love their teachers and talk about them all the time at home. I would recommend Creative Beginnings to my friends and family. read more

To all of those who think that Creative Beginnings Learning Center in Phoenix Az is in anyway affiliated with Creative Beginnings Daycare in Tucson is sorely MISTAKEN! Creative Beginnings Learning Center here in Phoenix is privately owned and the staff working within this facility are very well trained and valued! They have been watching my children for the last 5 years and do a tremendous job of it ! They are like a giant family they know the name of the children as soon as they walk in and treat them with compassion and kindness. Every daycare has incidents that occur but let me tell you I can count maybe 3 issues that I've had at this daycare that are common things that occur between small children nothing severe to cause any kind of concern for me as a parent. The issues were documented and I was informed immediately! I love this daycare and so do my children ! They are amazing in every way! Jenna the directors Candace her assistant and everyone else in this daycare are amazing people who know how to operate and efficiently run a daycare/preschool they go above and beyond to make it a better facility each and every day! So before anyone gets any further on the reviews for the Tucson Daycare with a similar name please remember that they DONT have a website and that your harsh words could impact my childrens favorite place to go and favorite people to see. My son went here over a year ago. I honestly thought our experience was a fluke, but it looks like nothing has changed. My son was bitten by a toddler (he was 5 months old and should have not been anywhere near toddlers), and he was hospitalized for a serious stomach bug (and since my husband and I had not been ill, we knew it was from the school). I tried to work it out with the owner since she was elderly and was nice over the phone, but it doesn't appear that anything has changed. read more

After a little over 2 years of my children attending Creative Beginnings I've sadly come to realize that some staff are great and others not so much... The infant room staff continues to amaze me with how they care for my infant however some staff in the toddler room seem to need more training on redirecting children and providing a safe environment. Some Daycare and preschools seem to lose sight of the main reason your kids go to care, you have to work, the staff and directors and owner of this facility have not lost site of it, and truly have your kids best interest i mind, my children 4 & 6 have been at this facility since my 6 year old was 4 months old.... My Son began going to Creative Beginnings Learning Center in Phoenix since he has been 1 years old, and I must say I am always in awe with how responsive this organization has been any time my child has been hurt. My son busted his 2 front teeth, and the staff on site was quick to act and offered to cover his medical expenses even though it was honestly an accident because my son, 1 years old, was a clumsy toddler. My child learns so much at this facility, and shocks me with how much he picks up from the instructors at this location. The front staff is truly incredible and always attentive to all our needs. Don't always jump to believe the internet that causes these local businesses to suffer. Creative Beginnings has been nothing but a blessing and we plan to keep our child enrolled until he goes to grade school. read more

Nightmare daycare! My kids were here for a year and the staff regularly abuse the children here; EVERY week I had a "ouch report" or a call saying my baby hit her head so hard, they are gonna keep her up for 30 mins to make sure she doesn't have a concussion! Both children front teeth were chipped, with no "ouch report" or an answer as to what happen. The owner plays favorites with the old ladies in the newborn room, who have been there for years. My children were left with bruises, scratches, bumps and they all happened "while playing" or they "came in with the injury". One time I was in the newborn room and heard my 1yr old begin crying hysterically. I run over to see what happen and the teachers says nothing happen. I storm into the office and demand to see the video of the last 10 mins and sure enough I witnessed the old lady with the short brown hair and a face full of make up, (she was in the 1year old room cause I didn't want her around my newborn after several incidents) walk up to my child grab her by both arms pick her and and walk with her across the room and forcefully puts her down. This interaction was completely unprovoked, my child was just running around like any normal 1 year old. When I talked to the owner she said she saw the video and didnt see anything wrong. She also refused to give me any type of documentation stating my child was dragged across a classroom by one of her favorite teachers. I can deal with dirty noses, lost items, high staff turn over but abuse of my children I CANT tolerate. Trust me it's not worth your child's mental well being, PLEASE stay away!!!!! read more

I have been sending my son to this school for a bout a year. i have had a few problems before but for the most part its been manageable. This past week i went in to pick up my son i saw one of their " teachers" throw my 3 year old off of a chair because he was sitting in the chair crying. the tape of the incident was erased and the owner blamed it on the fact that my 3 yr old crying may have upset the teacher. I caution any parent thinking to take your child here or have already enrolled your children the video cameras are just for show. they do not care about your child and if any abuse happens they will blame you, erase the tapes and accuse you of lying to cover for themselves. please please please look for another facility!! there is a reason they are always excepting children, their retention rate is horrible because of the employees here. read more

HORRIBLE!!! I took my daughter here for all of a week and everytime I would drop her off she would start to cry, which isn't usual. She was young, yes. New environment, yes. But this NEVER happened with her other Daycare. They ladies at the front desk were rude and I always felt rushed, I met her teacher, who was an older woman and she seemed very nice. Boy was I wrong. On a friday I went to drop her off, and I dropped her off a little earlier than usual and she started crying again, but I noticed she was only crying around this teacher (the older lady). She would freak out when the the teacher tried take her, which worried me. I have NEVER seen my daughter like this. So even though it KILLED me, I left her in the room with that HORRID woman!!! She thought I had left but I stuck around outside the door, and I overheard her trying to sooth my daughter as she was crying and after about a minute or two, I heard her yell at my daughter, "Okay, knock it off! Stop it! Enough!" Over and over and over again. And it made her cry even more. I felt awful leaving her there, but I called my Dad to come and get her as he doesn't work. And afterwards I went in, got her things, was able to speak to one lady who assured me something would be done about it. I doubt it has been since she said she would relay it to her main office/boss and they would give me a call. That was over 5 months ago and have yet to hear from them. This place is disgusting, and how they call themselves a child care facility I have no idea. They shouldn't be able to touch a child. Who knows what else that woman said to my daughter, or how she treated her, or any of the other kids for that fact!!! My advice, RUN FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. Even though the prices are low and affordable, pay the extra money for a place you know your child will be treated right in!!! read more

It is hard to find a daycare that you trust. I can honestly say that the staff at this location is the best by far. Your children will not be just a number they will be treated like family. Allowing my four children to go to this daycare was one of the best decisions i have made. read more

This day care is horrible in my opinion. I have 4 children and my two oldest attended this center. They attended when the center was on the Southeast side of Union Hills(just across from where they are now). When my kids went there their ages were 4 months and 3 years old. My oldest came home several times with bruises and once came home with a giant knot on her forehead and I was told she had gotten sick but seemed to be fine. They were unsure what happened but knew it happened outside. The worst is what happened to my son, 4 months old at the time. He dehydrated at this center. I fed him before I dropped him off, as usual. The entire day there he had eaten about 2 oz of formula THE WHOLE DAY and not once did anyone think to call me. When I came to pick the kids up, the teacher in the infant room commented on how tired he seemed all day, not crying and not really needing to be changed. She showed absolutely no concern about this, just said he's a good baby. When I went to pick him up, he was limp and was clearly having trouble breathing. I took him to the ER right away and was rushed back from triage. The gave him iv fluids and oxygen. Still noticing breathing trouble, they gave him albuterol. The meds caused his heart to race and they were unable to slow it down. The called a Code White began working on him. After they were able to stabilize him enough, they flew him to Phoenix Children's Hospital, where he stayed to 4 days after. This could have easily been prevented had they not ignored my child all day. All it would have taken in 1 phone call and I would have been there to get him. read more

TThis is a great daycare.. my son has gone here for almost a year and the teachers and staff r awesome.. my son hasn't started kindergarten but in pre k here he has learned a lot... they do little holiday and end of school year stuff parents can go to and the kids put on a show its an awesome place. its also much cheaper than the more expensive places that I've heard don't always engage the kids and i no creative beginnings engage the kids a lot. they come home with packets they have.done almost everyday or the crafts they did instead... great job ti the staff and teachers at creative beginning read more

This center has a supervisor that is VERY abusive to the employees. The Babies room is, in a lot of instances under ratio - as the owner struggles to make her pay because of the new law. She send teachers home in every room which places the room in jeopardy of being under ratio. She will also seek revenge for this rating, because the owner is not a very good one. She hired management staff that steals food from the teachers when parents brings in treats for the teachers and the rooms, also when ever, which is rare, the owner provides food for the center the management staff takes their portion plus some and dolls out the rest. This place is ran so poorly it's amazing it hasn't gotten into trouble with the government. read more

My six children (11, 7, 6, 4, 3, 1) attend this school, three of my six have been in the infant room and moved up from there. I love this daycare. They are willing to work with me on the pricing, my children love the staff and love going. I have never had a problem and would without hesitation recommend this daycare! read more

I absolutely love CBLC , my boys are now 13 and 10 they both went there when they were 3 yrs and 2 months i have never loved a place better than here all the staff and front office people are very willing to help you out in anyway thay can and go above and beyond what you expect in a daycare. The directors are amazing and when i didnt have enough money to pay my bill they understood and let me pay the rest the following week. I love this place and recommend them to anyone that asks where a great daycare is. read more
