Table Rock Art Guild & Gallery was honestly a solid stop. The place had character, the artists clearly care about their work, and there were some genuinely interesting pieces throughout the gallery. A lot of the collection leaned abstract ... not exactly the Beast's personal favorite style ... but art's subjective, and you could tell some people would absolutely love it. Even when a piece wasn't necessarily "my thing," there was still creativity and effort behind it that deserved respect. That's what makes galleries like this worthwhile. Local talent, different perspectives, and a place that actually supports artists instead of mass-produced wall filler from a furniture store. Cool little atmosphere, worth checking out if you're passing through and appreciate local art scenes. abstract-heavy for the Beast, but solid work and a good vibe overall.

This is a great little place to see artists and their work from a 50 mile radius. The prices are…read morereasonable. There is a wide range of mediums. They have a Guild that sponsors the artists. It meets the 3rd Monday of the month at 12 noon at First Christian Church on Joe Bald Rd in Kimberling city. They have many activities including an Open House December 6 12:30 to 3 pm. They are on a Studio Tour Oct 31 10 to 5. They sponsor field trips, workshops and interest programs and Meet and Greets. They sponsor a Children's Show and a Fall Festival. It is a fun enriching group. I give it 5 stars.
