There's a Santander right across the street if you need an ATM, since some of the classes are cash only. Note for Bank of America cardholders, there is a $3 ATM fee. There is a gender neutral bathroom available The 1:30-3pm Samba class was super fun. It was my first time doing Samba, but the teacher was super energetic and there are plenty of other beginners so you don't have to feel awkward. You can put your stuff on the right hand side along the wall, and there's plenty of mirror space so you can watch yourself shake it. There were people of all ages and it was good vibes all around. It started with a warm up and then payment, and then the actual Samba class. There was even a live band that played while we danced. At the end, there was a dance circle and everyone left sweaty but happy. The dance center overall is a cool spot and you can try out a number of different dance styles and classes no matter what age you are. I noticed on the bulletin board they have kid classes as well.

It can be uncomfortable just to be standing in that kind of weather, let alone doing cardio for an hour plus. Honestly, this seems irresponsible to me, and I'm confused by the fact that they don't seem to be concerned about heat stroke. There are definitely days when the only reason I don't go to class is because there's no AC. I also wish they had contemporary classes (they have one "contemporary modern" once a week, which is not the same as contemporary).

Danielle…read morefailed to mention there is a no refund policy before I signed up for classes and refused to provide a refund after I asked. I was okay with receiving even a partial refund, but even this was refused. Considering the industry FirstDance works in, I would have expected better customer service and a willingness to work something out. Now I regret ever signing up for the classes at this business. Tip for future customers: If you sign up for their new student introductory class ($45), they will try to get you to sign up for a bulk package of classes at the very end. They say it is cheaper to purchase the classes right then and there because they offer "special pricing" since you're a "new student". Their whole business model is to have you buy 20-40 classes all at once for $90-$100 per session instead of paying more for individual classes. I fell victim to this sales tactic and decided to sign up for 30 classes at the end of the intro class. I wish FirstDance could be more understanding of their clients and offer a better refund policy. I have 30 classes that I will likely never use.

We when to Virginia Beach and won. When I got a little bit older I started to notice that she was separating the group. She was looking for a certain kind of girl, certain shape. My mom didn't believe me but I knew soon as her daughter left I was off The competitive team. She doesn't like the parents to watch the kids while they practice. So parents sit in separate area. Also when I was a kid The other parents and my mother would have him sew all the costumes. I left the team and went to a different dance company nice one more friendly one and one that excepted different size body. Any way i used to tell people I was part of the Chippendale's Dance Group, they laughed because they thought it was part of this strip group. Lol

After only a few weeks, I was able to participate in the team match, and am looking forward to the Krystal Ball to showcase performance in a few months. I am certainly glad I was wrong about that, and after one workout I was hooked. The trainers are excellent at modifying moves for beginners or if you have any physical limitations. The team atmosphere and the workouts are like nothing I have ever experienced at any other gym. This place motivates you to get better and work harder every time you walk through the door, something that I wasn't getting at my regular gym. I would typically wander around doing a little of this and a little of that and convincing myself that it was better than nothing. I guess that would be true if I was in the shape that I want to be in, but I am not. At Crossfit the workouts are laid out for you and the atmosphere makes you push yourself to a level that you didn't even know you had. I know that after 6 weeks I feel stronger and leaner than I have in a very long time. If you really want to make a change in the way you look and feel, you should give it a try.
