It was a pleasure working with Denene, who visited our home and helped us choose beautiful, practical window treatments that fit our lifestyle and decor preferences. I highly recommend The Shade Store and Denene!

Then a valance in another room was ordered incorrectly. Lastly, the quality of the product after installation looks pretty shoddy. An installer had to come at least 4 times due to the mistakes of the saleswoman who ordered the product wrong and an installation done poorly. (who has time for this?) I asked multiple times for a customer service rep to reach out to discuss, and unsurprisingly, I've gotten no response. Go to any other shade/blind outlet. Save a headache.

After calling several vendors to look into Hunter Douglas shutters, we decided to give a local…read morevendor a call. Definitely received the best customer service compared to the others as well as competitive pricing. Dana came out and provided us with options and advice based on our feedback and needs. We had an idea of what we wanted but at the same time we were also looking for advice on what would look good. He provided an honest assessment and the results were great. Other vendors we spoke to seemed to be more concerned with selling us the product instead of listening and evaluating our needs. The project spanned a couple of months due to timing and the holidays, but once the product arrived they were installed timely and professionally. Installation was done professionally and the quality / ownership of the work exceeded our expectations. Dana was very accommodating and made sure that we were 100% satisfied with the window treatments and installation. Attention to detail was impeccable and it was immediately pointed out if there was a possible issue. Some businesses can say this, but Dana can back it up when it comes to making sure that customers are 100% happy. I would definitely recommend giving Dana a call if you are looking for Hunter Douglas window treatments for your home. We ended up ordering Hunter Douglas shutters, power roller shades, and up/down roman shades. We'll be contacting Breslow for any future needs if it comes up as they are reliable and can provide excellent customer service with great follow through.

The sales associate (will not mention a name) seemed great. Promised to send along a quote in 48 hours. Made me take pictures of my space, send specs, measure, etc. Two days went by and nothing. Week went by and nothing. Reached out two times. Nothing. Finally, heard from her on text saying that there was a family emergency and that the quote would be there at the end of the day. Three days later nothing. So, I sent one last text saying I would like the quote for a comparison with another company. A quote was sent. Looked like a copy and paste out of google images. The specs were not included, not the right size, and it was supposed to be two quotes with all the items requested. NOTHING. I called to ask why the quote was not correct. She didn't even know who I was and said she didn't get a chance to take the information I sent into account. She also mentioned that Breslow has been trying to get into the market in Florida for a month now. Her manager did call me afterwards and let me know that she dropped the ball. He did apologize and offered "to do whatever he could for me." When I asked him what that meant he said he didn't know and probably just meant starting from the beginning and taking over the account (couldn't do anything else). He confirmed that Breslow has been trying to get into the Florida market for 2 weeks. I have decided I will not be doing business with Breslow. I would certainly warn Florida residents to strongly consider going with someone who has done work in Florida.

Came here to see the showroom for Hunter Douglass window treatments…read more Not what I was expecting of a showroom, seemed underwhelming, but once I spoke with Suzette, I was able to go through the selections and options more thoroughly. Very friendly staff. While not everyone was able to help us with the HD window treatments specifically, they tried hard to answer our questions, and obviously felt bad that we were waiting around not being helped -- only because the Suzanne was occupied with another couple. Once we were helped, we got a price breakdown. There was definitely no upselling. She gave us affordable options, explained the different types of window treatments (the benefits of motorized ones to regular pull downs) and also price points of more expensive options. We left after making an appointment with the designer, who takes preliminary measurements and a more detailed price estimate. After that, Chris came for more exact measurements, then we waited until the product was made. Fast forward 8 weeks later (a large custom sized shade), Chris came back to install, and within 45 minutes of his arrival, it was all done -- we had our pull down black out shades. Very happy, blocks out a lot of light, and waking up in the morning is a lot less painful without the sun beaming straight into our eyes. Would recommend!
