Have had Blinds to Go blinds installed for 15+ years when the pull mechanism broke. Brought the broken blind back to the NJ Route 22 store with the intent to buy a replacement. The store identified me as a past customer and offered to repair the old blind. Took one week as promised. When picking it up, I was not charged because of a lifetime warranty of which I was not aware. I rarely review products or services, but this was exceptional service and I will make an exceptional. Terrible. This store doesn't pick up the phone sometimes during normal business hours, and they don't return voicemails. Additionally, I placed a $500 order for two cellular shades, and requested simple plastic spacers with my order. The spacers were not included in my shipment, and they didn't have any spacers in the store to give me. So I had to call customer service multiple times. This store is poorly managed and poorly run. Hi Blinds To Go! This is a review that I would like to make to reconsider some things about this location! When my dad went in, he went to get some blinds for my basement windows, but unfortunately after that when he left, he got the wrong box for the blinds! He had then had to go get them but THEY FORGOT TO GIVE THEM THE RIGHT BOX! I have also went to PC Richard and SON after that but there was another small problem! This was the worst for us! The value was good pricing! I think that it was worth buying and well designed! The design was really nice and comfortable! I am always loyal l their designs! It is clean and nice! It goes along with my bedroom even! I'm usually very happy with Blinds To Go! Unfortunately though, this is the closet I could go to and I wasn't really happy about the service! They need to be more smarter and quicker! My dad might not or will come back to fix it but if he fails! We have had our shades for 15 years and recently the pull cord broke on one of them. When we took the shade down we had a hard time getting it out of the brackets and bent two of them. We told Jamie at store 203 but he had no replacements there. He went out of his way and drove to another store 30 minutes away to pick them up for us. We had them the next day. Fixing of the blinds was very easy and fast (back in 2 days!). Appreciate the quality and service, especially Jamie. Thanks so much! read more

1 star is too high. Rating of negative infinity is more appropriate. Quality stinks and service is worse. Ordered double Roman shades which weren't cheap (over $1k). Chain broke after only 1 week. Told me repair would take 3-5 days. After over 1 week went to store and was told they were taking extra time to ensure wouldn't break again. After over another week went to store again and they found my shades sitting behind counter. Hadn't even been sent for repair. Obviously what I was told previously was total BS. Next week they came to reinstall shades. Opened box and they weren't mine. They had no idea where mine were. Another few weeks passed before they finally found mine and came to reinstall them -- only 2 months after initial issue that was only supposed to take 3-5 days. Name of outfit should be Blinds That Blow!! Original purchase order 562933. NEVER do business with Blinds to Go. My issue isn't necessarily with the store, although I have been told my consultant and installer came from this store. In 2021 we did an in home Blinds To Go consultation. We ended up ordering blinds for every room in the house for several thousand dollars. They were installed several months later. 2 blinds broke within the first year. The first time one needed to be replaced it went fairly well and the work was done out of the Somerville, NJ store, which I am told, my at home consultant and installer worked for, but he is nowhere to be found now. When the second blind broke, it took weeks to get someone to come get it, then I had an appointment for the install and no one showed up and no one called. I called and spoke to Cathy who was going to speak to a manager and call me back the next day. Cathy never called back. I called again and spoke to Destiny, the manager is not available because the store is closed for the holiday, she says she will call me back on Monday. we will see. I have been living with a towel over my master bedroom window while this gets taken care. I could have purchased the same quality blinds from Home Depot or Lowes and I would have been better off. I would never recommend doing business with Blinds To Go. Update 04/19/2022 Still have not gotten an installation date and did not receive the follow-up phone call from Destiny as promised on Monday. I'll start by saying that we've been generally pleased by our experiences with Blinds To Go. We've been able to locate the products, styles and colors we sought at prices we thought were fair (but certainly no bargain). The craftsmanship of the actual blind is good; we bought horizontal slat blinds. What their sales partners loose due to rigidity and the need for multiple repetition (due to the up-selling attempts) is somewhat balanced by their enthusiasm in providing assistance. We have had two areas of minor disappointment, neither of which would stop us from again buying here. First, Blinds To Go does no installation work-- you're at the mercy of their contractor regarding scheduling, quality and added cost. We had no significant issue with their local contractor, but were a bit miffed regarding their policies. Next, and this is the larger concern, the Blinds To Go product uses several types of fasteners and fit-and-finish pieces; they are very cheap and flimsy plastic, and fall off with everyday use of the blinds. Better engineering of these fasteners would add value to their product. read more

I have scheduled 2 appointments to come fix my blinds. I am within the one year warranty period. Each time the person did not show up. The customer service was not helpful at all saying the only thing they can do is reschedule. So I am trying for a third time. I confirm each appointment as well. I am at a loss as to what to do here. But I noticed that of all the multiple sizes that I ordered, they were put in this long box that is the same no matter what size your blinds are. But of course, in one of the blinds, that wand that opens/closes the blinds arrived broken, as there was so much room in this big box. Company should review their packaging practices. I just called up a few minutes ago inquiring about fixing some of the loose round ends of my wooden blinds and the lady from this branch told me that I have to bring the whole blinds that needs to be fixed because they have to send them back to the plant. This is ridiculous, the blinds are installed already(had to pay installation from a third party when I bought it). Why not just send a technician to repair these small things? So people, don't be lured by their "lifetime warranty" scheme. read more

Of the six blinds we bought from Blinds-To-Go three have needed repair. They lost one repaired blind so it had to be replaced with a new one. The new blind is a noticeably different shade so it doesn't match the others and is crooked when drawn down. I give up! I am sorry I ever bought blinds from Blinds-To-Go and I suggest you take your business elsewhere. read more

went to this store because other blinds at the house was previously from there...this store is the worse for their communication . purchased blinds 11/18/18. did not get the 3 simple, standard shades unyil 12/6/18. There was too many calls, twice told "oh, we shouldn't have called you. first call was to say, blind dize resulted in a credit on the total, was that ok? seriously, someone would have an issue with a credit? then 2 calls were in error because they didn't want to tell us that a shade was on back order. it resulted in a total of about 7 phone calls before it got completed. will never deal with them again....should've gone to Home Depot. read more

I purchased my blinds at Blinds to Go in Somerville Easy purchase from start to finish. Sales associate was very friendly and helpful. I originally ordered the 1 inch wood white blinds but when the installer came to measure the windows he suggested I go with the 2 inch. I was really glad I listened, the blinds look great and he was helpful and friendly as well. When I called the store to change my order it was no problem as long as it was before the order was placed of course. Would definitely go there again! read more
