The lady who did my nails did not wash her hands thoroughly and did not use gloves. Another lady who did my friend's pedicure used gloves but before that she was not conscious of what she was touching. She cleaned the tub before my pedicure with the same glove she used to work on me! The dip gel on my nails was okay but not the best. She missed the filling the Sides of my nails on several nails. They also have 20 manicure tables. The price was common enough. We paid $35 for the Classic Pedicure(without gel). Gel is an extra $15. I had a gentleman that clearly has been doing this for a while. We didnt chat. He just got right to it. Remove polish, cut down nails and sand nails (pretty sure that isn't what they call it, but you get the idea). He didnt use a dremel as may feet didnt warrant it. He scrubs the toes including the tops of your feet(rather aggressively), but effective. Then it is time for the calf sugar scrub, moisturizer and massage. Strong hands are good, but no finesse. This is very off-putting if you have sensitive feet. He is professional and polite. The hot towel is my favorite and it didn't disappoint. Temperature that the hot shower gods would approve. He shaped my toes as I requested and was meticulous with his paint process. There aren't any fans to put your feet under to dry. I just sat in the chair with the toe spreader on with my sandals. I was unsure how long it would take to dry. They have two big screen televisions and music playing in the background (not too loud). There is a cooler in front with pop and water. I don't know if it is for customers though or if you can purchase a drink. I can ask next time. They have earned my service and I will be back. Job well done!

That alone should be enough for anyone to reconsider stepping through the door. The service quality was equally poor. The technician rushed through the appointment, ignored basic requests, and offered no attention to detail. The manicure and pedicure were sloppy, uneven, and far below professional standards. When I raised concerns, the response was dismissive, almost irritated that I expected better. What makes this even more infuriating is the pricing. Ocean Nails charges premium rates, but delivers bargain-basement quality. For these incredibly high prices, customers deserve sterilized tools, safe facilities, and skilled, respectful service. I called in prior to check on their prices, and the total for my deluxe pedicure and full acrylic set ended up being less than what I thought it would be ($75 total before tip). This was a plus! I came in on a Friday around lunch time, and they were pretty busy. I didn't have to wait though, and sat down right away for my pedicure. I noticed the later it got, the more customers showed up and it got busier. Weekends are probably their busiest. I chose the Deluxe Pedicure, and it was well worth it in my opinion. It has more massage time, extra scrub, wax and a hot towel treatment. The water was the perfect hot temperature to soak my feet in. Everything was sanitary and new packages of tools were used. The massage chair was relaxing and even massaged my shoulders and butt! Kyle did my French tip gel pedicure and he did a great job, especially with the massage. The only thing I didn't like was that he had to cough several times, and a few times he coughed on me. I hope he wasn't sick! For my nails, I requested square, French tips, with a bow design on one nail. The lady who did them was quick and did an awesome job. I absolutely love them! I definitely recommend this salon for nail services. I did see multiple people come in for eyebrow waxing, so I may try that service in the future. Taking off a star because she had very sharp nails herself, which made it a bit uncomfortable when she was working on me because I kept getting poked. Other than that, I would recommend and will likely go back. I also really like that they don't add a credit card surcharge like my normal place does.
