Kim was fantastic :) We had kids of all ages and the options were perfect for each age group. The party cost also include cupcakes, drinks and pizzas. For 1 Small/Medium item, 2 Small items and 1 Mini item we paid $112.36 (with tax), but I know the business has to be able to make a profit as well. They had a beautiful supply of individual and boxed holiday card sets from a variety of small letterpresses. After some searching, I found some lovely options from local letterpress, Ladybug Press. With my boxes in hand, I began to venture toward the cash register. But, wait! Are those local tees from Banana Ink? Yes. Yes, they are. They have a nice selection of locally printed tees. Banana Ink works with local artists and designers to create a line of Idaho inspired tees, hoodies, hats, and other wearables. And, while, you could make the trip to downtown Boise to their shop to pick something up--it's nice to know that their stuff can be found in Meridian as well! I was able to find an awesome tee for a Christmas gift. I also noticed that they carry a range of beard products from local barber shop, The Beardsmith. A little unlikely, perhaps, but pretty awesome to see this local business so supportive of other local businesses (really amazing ones to boot!). They also do a variety of fun and crafty workshops on occasion (ie: In February, they're offering a Modern Calligraphy workshop). Such a gem of a stationary shop! One employee was able to help us frame several paintings that arrived with our aunt from France. Many people don't realize that when they purchase a painting in France or Europe for that matter, the sizing is different and the frame needs to be custom-made. The employee was able to assist us and even recalled some high school French. Oui Oui. I hope Michael's hangs on otherwise it's only going to be the HL show in town.

I went back a few days later to exchange it for the right color but was told that since the sale was over, I would have to pay full price for the right one. What!? I understand the sale was over but I wasn't trying to get additional items at the sale price, I just wanted an even exchange. There's absolutely no loss on their side whatsoever. It just seems to me that a smaller chain would be more reasonable and want to keep their customers.

There's not really a sign -- it's upstairs inside North End Organic Nursery (NEON). There are stairs with sturdy railings, but no elevator. You never know what you're going to find... bottle caps, binder clips, buckles. They've got greeting cards with envelopes for 10 cents. Prices are very reasonable.
