I stayed at the Meadow House for two nights this week. It was lovely. The cabin was stocked with…read moreeverything I could possibly need; the 360 degree views were beautiful and my time there was restful and quiet, which was what I was seeking. I was able to sleep in, read, sit on the porch and watch the deer, and wander the area and property taking photographs. For someone who works 7 days a week, this was a wonderful respite and time with nature. The owners were helpful and kind. Read the FAQs, don't expect to be fed a whole lot to do--that's really not the point. I look forward to returning some day to experience what it's like in a different season and explore other roads and little gems in the Driftless.

That was a little problem since we couldn't fully relax and play music quietly outside. There weren't a lot of instructions on where to find the remotes to the various electronics including the fan and the wifi did not work at all. The firewood was a bit expensive at 10$ per bundle. It was a small cozy little cottage and the owners made sure it had all the things you might need for a weekend getaway. The cabins are set in the beautiful hilly area of Driftless of Wisconsin and has absolutely stunning views. Might fo back to try a different cabin.

Make sure you go look at the anything you're going to buy from these guys. Don't get me wrong, I…read moreknew it was a cheaper used truck I was getting into. But when you promise repairs and then they aren't done upon deliver, it really comes off wrong. So yeah, make sure you get any repairs you want done to the truck in signed writing. Actually, instead of doing that, get the price lowered enough for you to buy the part and replace it yourself. After seeing their shop, it's not the most elegant of setups. If you look up these guys online, you'll find all sorts of bad reviews on them. Some of them are justified but then some of them the guys bought the truck sight unseen and expected a new truck. Just know you're not getting a new truck, and they will buckle and dime you on any repair you want done. Don't buy trucks sight unseen, and know what you're getting into when you buy something from a repo place.

We have a bill of sale from the "said farmer" that happens to be the Manager of the Repo Company. We bought a SkidSteer from the Manager here who described the only flaw as cow poop potentially being on the floor. Big deal! It was in great shape, we were told. We took the night off, got a sitter, drove 8 hours, got a hotel room and a trailer and brought $11,500 cash to the seller. Loaded it up, stayed the night and got back home. The first time we used it, it broke down in our parking lot. That first repair was $280. The second time we used it, we had to bring it into a shop on a trailer. $2,800 later, we got it back home and it still wasn't fixed. Now it's back in the same shop and they call to tell us that there is a hole in the tank that someone tried to fix. That is another $3,500 fix because they have to remove the engine first. Thanks, guys, for taking advantage of a family and Small Business Owner. Not only did you cost us $11,500 in the sale of the item, $300 in travel costs, and over $6,000 in repairs - you are too cowardly to answer any calls, texts or e-mails.
