If they do not know how to do something they will not admit it and will not take responsibility for damages on their part.

Both the manufacturer and authorized dealer said the top was installed improperly. Manufacturer will not cover warranty and 41Seven Off-road says it's not their fault. I will admit, it seems like the repair was rushed at the end since they missed a few spots of rust, some patches of frame not painted, and a few other minor things. I called the shop after leaving a review stating these observations and I received excellent customer service. They picked up my vehicle the next day, fixed the mistakes, and even threw in an upgrade for my vehicle for free. In the end, I am a very happy customer. Does that happen? 5 minutes later this team ignores the calls, the credit card info provided from this long term customer and they require my family to Purchase a battery and then require further that they hand over the old one - and rather than test it for possible warranty coverage discard it like they do the decency that once accompanied customer relationships. So now I am out two battery purchases which should have been covered by warranty because they cannot communicate among their own team. Further right before I left for my work assignment they tried to shake me down to fix an alleged oil leak for $5,000.00 on a 2019 XT5. That's odd, still haven't put in any additional oil and a separate independent mechanic has no idea why the costs would have been so high - other than they thought they could. Be wary, hide your wallet, and you may want to consider a different Cadlilac dealer as these folks have lost their way.

They recommended replacing the battery, charged $150 for it, and wanted another $150 just to install it. I declined the install and later confirmed that replacing the battery did NOT fix the airbag issue, making the recommendation unnecessary. They also suggested the airbag issue might be a recall, which they could have easily verified using my VIN--but it was not a recall. I also asked them to look at a rear leak and was told to pull a drain plug and then referred to a body shop because they didn't know how to fix it. I paid $120 for diagnostics and walked away with no solutions. Unfortunately, this shop has gone downhill over the past few years, declining from a great place to one with weak diagnostics and questionable recommendations. Customers who aren't car‑savvy could easily overspend here. I won't be back.
