I buy a few each time I go to Hawaii, and between my trip to Maui and Kauai, I bought enough to qualify for the free t-shirt!

Walking into the store, it's stocked and chock full of so many darn shirts, that I was paralyzed with options. My friend lost a bet to me years ago, so he owed me a shirt. I spent a good amount of time perusing the offerings, and talking to the employees there. It was awesome. Now, I'm nothing if not fair, and I think it's fair to say that these shirts are on the expensive side. They mirror prices similar to places like Tommy Bahama. So, that's what you're dealing with here. The Spooner Kloth is comfy, sturdy, and shrink-resistant. If you've ever worn a Reyn Spooner before, you know what you're getting here. Is it worth it? That's for you to decide. After we found the shirts we wanted, the ladies at the counter folded and bagged them up for us! Lovely people and very helpful indeed!

Waited a minute, still no greeting so I finally asked her if they have kaamaina discounts and she said yes. Thank goodness. The shirts here are at least $140 bucks! I chose one, luckily they had the size I needed. Finished transaction and she thanked me with a smile. It's a smaller sized shop but they have a nice selection of shirts and merchandise.

We only had our carry-ons and the clothes on our backs. My husband and I needed some clothes and we decided to stop here because it was within walking distance of the Grand Hyatt where we were staying. We had stopped at other shops and either women's suits were running $50 per piece for a bikini or more. Luckily I was able to find a two piece swimsuit from Sea Level Swim Australia here for about $70 due to a 50% off clearance sale. My husband got a discounted pair of swim trunks in the $30 range. This store saved the day because I was not about to swim in a hotel in my undies. Visited: January 2023

Came here the next morning to at least find a swimsuit to enjoy the hotel pool for the day. It was about 1.5 mi walk from Grand Hyatt. Upon arrival, I found that due to a 50% clearance sale on certain items that this was the only affordable place in the area to find stuff under $100! My wife got a swimsuit from Sea Level Swim Australia for about 80 bucks (2-piece), while I got Billabong board shorts for $30!! Great deal! And a life saver too!! They also sell t-shirts, Aloha shirts, swim cover-ups, beach blankets, sunglasses, and more!

It's not a massive selection and you won't find much in the way of patterns, but they do have a lot of colors, which is helpful. This store sells shirts and sheets that are eco-friendly, soft, and allegedly very durable. The best selling point is that they are lightweight and cool. They reportedly breathe as well as cotton, and the sheets apparently don't get as hot at night. The sales people are very informative and friendly, but not pushy. It's a bit more expensive than you can find bamboo products elsewhere, but then again, everything is a bit more expensive in Hawaii, so I'm not too surprised. We ended up not buying anything on this initial trip, but I'll probably be buying from them online soon.

(I think it was my fault...between the rum I drank downstairs & my crazy 15 family members, somehow I lost the bag & he paid cash. We thought the necklaces were gone forever. I called the hotel, rum factory, nothing.. I go BACK to Kauai 2 months later thru a series of WEIRD & RANDOM events, the universe blessed me this year, & I was back in this store w/ my mom (who wasn't on the last trip). As we walk in, I'm explaining to her the story "we bought & lost 2 necklaces from here & ended up buying duplicates on Etsy b/c I felt so bad." The lady who works there (I'm sure the owner) says "you lost 2 necklaces here 2 months ago? Hold on a second...." PULLS OUT 2 BOXES. In my head I'm like "no, no, this is not real, you're mistaken, this is someone else's box." But NO! IT WAS OUR 2 NECKLACES! Someone from downstairs found them & brought them back up to the store. They kept them for 2 months! Even though he paid cash. Most people would have taken the $100 & resold them. Free money. But this owner did not. The integrity of this store is such a rarity in this day & age. A true, honest, kind gem! They are just good people. I will always come back here when I go to Kauai. And yes...these necklaces were way better quality than the ones from Etsy! HA! I also bought more items that are gorgeous. Thank you so much! XO Lacei
