Great food great service I've been going here for years since they opened here in Selden. I haven't ordered from here for a little while until recently. Last time I ordered I wanted a crepe that I had while I was in Montreal that I had been craving it was just lemon and sugar. I think it was upwards of $10 which I wasn't thrilled about but I really wanted it lol. My partner got the berry crepe which was great besides the hair we found in the food :(. Ehhhh crazy crepe. Maybe I'm a purist or maybe I'm just not impressed by American crepes in general, but it cost me over $7 and I just sorta wish it was... different. For $7 you can now go to the "halal on wheels" guys a couple blocks away and get a full platter of chicken and lamb over rice, that's the better bet; I don't buy into the chain style hype of crazy crepe and never will but I wanted to give it a try. y'all the crazy ones for doing so in my opinion. The less that goes in a crepe the better, I'm thinking it's just not for me, you should give it a try though. These crepes are pretty decent, not crazy thick like you tend to get in the states at these joe shmoe places but what they are doing to it after is what's blasphemous. The guys are friendly, the crepes are fine and better than the sweet n savory spot by me in patchogue, but it's just not quite my cup of tea, not good enough to rate any higher than the middle of the road three stars. Honestly, I'm letting my biases get in the way a bit, it's not their fault, their business is their business and it'll do well for a reason, it's aimed at the people that expect what it is, to be exactly what it is. My personal opinion is being critical, I understand that, it was my own fault for giving in and going and ordering the way I did to begin with. I get that. The only way a crepe should be served is light thin and airy and not overpacked like our fat-ass American everything. That being said, do your thing, i get it. I wasn't wowed by the classic crepe with ham and Swiss - may have been a delivery problem but when it arrived it was lukewarm and the cheese wasn't melted like I hoped it would be. Alone it would've earned a 3-star rating but Crazy Crepe redeemed itself with its signature "crazy crepe" which was everything I had hoped for! Love this place! My friend was in from out of town and we wanted to go to a place that's a little different. So I looked up brunch spots and this place came up and who doesn't love a good crepe! I didn't think it was going to be anything wonderful but it was delicious. I got an Iced Nutella Latte, so good. I got a bacon egg and cheese crepe. Coffees are good, crepes are good, have not had waffles, but the acai bowls were disappointing. I have had several trips here and was not fond of price but the food was decent so I just visited like 3 times or so. Today, I figured that since stopping at ups, my husband and I should try the acai bowls. 2 large cost about 27 dollars. The acai tasted like blended blueberries with almond milk, it was not in a bowl, it was in a tall milk shake container, barely any strawberries, blueberries and bananas could fit. I am very disappointed. During a pandemic you would think you can get quality products and services since there is less demand. To keep business afloat but nope. I wish I had better to review. I ordered on Uber Eats priority. Like the driver picked it up and brought my food to me right away. There is no reason my crepe should be soggy, sitting in liquid. After a quick massage from the Foot relaxation. My wife said can we try this place. I said why not. She ordered the spinach crepe. Baby spinach, goat cheese, and cranberries. Took it to go in the car and started munching away. Hmmm.... The flavors are cool, the crepe is actually really good. I think I may need to come back and try more flavors. They have many CRAZY selections and you can also make your own flavors up. They also have nutella and sliced bananas, and S'Mores. They also have smoothies. I fell in love with crepes when I was in Paris many years ago. The crepe acts as a great canvas for all sorts of ingredients. I was all excited to try this place, so we Dropped by here for a little snack after grocery shopping at shoprite. We got the crazy crepe (nutella, strawberry, and bananas) which was delicious. You really can't go wrong with that classic combo. We also got the Italiano crepe which had pesto, mozzarella, spinach, and chicken. It was a tasty combo. The biggest negative was that the crepe was a bit on the thicker side for me. Also the crepe they used for the savory filling had a light sweet flavor which was much better suited for the sweet fillings. We also had a smoothie which was fine. Delicious!! My all time favorite is the crazy crepe (Nutella, strawberries and bananas) with added marshmallows. The s'mores crepe is also amazing. All the smoothies I've had have been really good and I specially recommend the tropical breeze(it has the right amount of coconut and pineapple). My new addiction is the BLT waffle slider, it's the perfect combination of sweet from the waffle and savory from the BLT part, I highly suggest trying it out. I have been there a bunch of times and the staff is super friendly and really helpful, the place is also pretty neat which is always a good sign. I definitely recommend this place to anyone, especially if you've never had crepes before. I have a medical condition that limits my food aka no gluten for me...I had been craving a crepe for so long because no one ever has gluten free crepes. The only down side is that they usually turn off the gluten free burner. So I'm usually waiting about 15 mins for it to heat up. Since this is CCC's first location, I can see why the staffs here are more friendly and more trained (compared to the ronkonkoma one - specifically that one guy that was working there on 2/27 maybe around 8pm? The girl was nice though). The crepes here are definitely made better. For the price, it's pretty worth it since they offer discounts online as well. The fruits are fresh and they pack a good amount of ingredients inside. I prefer the sweet over the savory. Had the Buffalo chicken once and wasn't too fond of it. I mean it wasn't bad but it wasn't good. The chicken tasted a little weird (Yeah for sure it was frozen but tasted like it was kept frozen for toooo long). Plus I don't think american cheese goes well with it. I usually order the smores crepe. Decided to try something different today so I got the smores. Hubby and I stopped in this afternoon. Sort of our New Years Day outing since we just stayed home on the first. We decided to get one breakfast crepe (the Western) and one savory (the Italiano). We shared. The Western wasn't a true Western,,,, crepe filled with egg, roasted peppers, feta cheese and tomato,, but was very tasty. The Italiano was filled with mozzarella, tomato, pesto, spinach with a choice of chicken or veggies. We got the chicken. The savory ones also come with a side salad which had a balsamic dressing. I thought both were extremely tasty but liked the Italiano better. We got smoothies,,, I knew mine was going to be sweet but it was way to sweet for my liking,, then again I usually don't do store smoothies. We ended up deciding to try a crepe dessert. Nutella and strawberries.............with whipped cream on the side. One word here. YUM! You can make you own sort of crepe, just tell them what you want and they will do it. Went in for an açaí bowl and got a regular size (medium) with peanut butter. I was a little shocked at first because it cost me $8.69, which is much more expensive that Ralph's or SoBol (the original makers of the açaí bowls on LI). Once I received it I was even more shocked because of the size of the bowl. It was put into a small cup, the açaí has absolutely no flavor, and the bananas were over ripe and mushy. I was upset because for what I paid, the açaí bowl should've been the best thing I've ever eaten, but with every bite I continued to be dissatisfied. The BBQ chicken crepe was literally a crepe with dry grilled chicken and a slice of cheddar cheese... missing the bbq completely. Had to go in the fridge and whip out some random sauce just to get through half of it. The cinnamon roll crepe was disappointing. It looked like someone ate it and spit it back out whole. It tasted like cinnamon but had nothing on top. Presentation was lacking to say the least. The inside barely had any cream in it. I usually like everything here, not sure what happened today.
