Hope the crows find this more palatable than I did.

I've got respect for anybody trying to hustle, but this ain't that. Somebody got an idea about a food truck and economy of scale ingredients...but there is no interest in producing a quality meal being shown here. Nothing here is cooked, it is only heated up. Portions are large, but that only means you have work through a great deal of unpleasantness or waste a lot of what could have been decent food. What is being served is plain steamed rice, a bag of bird's eye Asian style frozen vegetables, unseasoned and steamed to death, canned pineapple chunks, and chicken breast skewers again unseasoned and grilled 'til dry. The nearly dozen different sauces that you can use do nothing to help that everything in the dish has been thrown together with carelessness verging on hostility towards taste. Sorry guys, hope y'all decide to invest some energy into producing something you'd be proud to serve and happy to eat...otherwise your trailer is just gonna be a moneypit.

Steak with mango habanero, and chicken with spicy peanut sauce. Definitely 2 meals worth on the portion.

Amazing! First time trying and will definitely be back. So many sauces to choose from and the steak was cooked perfectly. Huge portions too!

Hawaiian with sweet and sour sauce! YUM!!!

These guys, they do this simple dish, and they do it well. Rice, chicken, pineapple, sautéed veggies. I get the chicken and pineapple, and a side of the steamed veggies. I will drive out of my way, because let's be honest, unless you work out there it's not 'on the way' to anything. Maybe if you're headed to the coast or Sauvies Island. The thing these guys do, that makes them so universally enjoyed, is the sauces. They do the chicken plain for a reason, so you can customize it yourself with one of their many tasty house made sauces. I recommend the bourbon or sweet and sour. I think the teriyaki is also good, and though I haven't tried it because 'spicy' isn't my thing, the Cajun sauce appears to be popular as well. You don't have to get just one either, mix em up! Little bit of this, little bit of that... you do you, they supply the chicken and rice, you finish it off the way you want. Good prices, good portions, they're consistent because they keep it simple. I love these guys, there's a reason they're still going strong after all these years, one of Portland's 'original' good carts.

I normally go to a different teriyaki place in this part of town so this is my first try @ Crazy Chicken Bento. I ordered the Cajun Chicken, I think I waited 2 minuets if that and it was ready! The cook puts your order down on the pickup counter next to the sauces and napkins with no lid so you can put more sauce on your food or put on a lid and rubber band and call it good. I took mine as ordered. The cajun sauce has a tangy sweet flavor similar to a Kansas City BBQ Sauce with a little more heat but not too much.( I am a fan of Portland's Crazy Juice https://www.crazyjuice.net/ so this is very tame in comparison) The Chicken breast meat was tender and juicy with a nice array of grill marks to give a good char flavor. The Rice is standard white rice done sticky style and flavored nicely. Here is why the review only gets a 3 star rating. The veggies are on the squishy side I suspect they are frozen making them slimy and squishy with a frozen aftertaste, I am sure upgrading to fresh veggies would earn a 4 or 5 star rating, still @ $7.00 this is a great lunch deal and as long as they use frozen veggies I will order mine without. I will be back for sure!

I eat here almost ever day for lunch. It's simple, quick, consistent, and cheap. It is also one of the healthiest lunch options around.

It had a panko crust which sometimes I prefer to batter. They were a little bit salty for my taste but ever since I got COVID lots of things have tasted salty so take that with a grain of salt I'm not a tartar sauce guy but this is some great sauce. I feel like later I got a piece of tarragon(?) out of my teeth and reminded me of the herby yummy sauce. I scoffed at first at the chips. Very non uniformly cut but surprisingly all well cooked. I don't know if it's they type of potato but the skin was really off putting. But solid toothsome chips that a splash of vinegar helps a lot. If I end up in a similar position again I'll definitely consider coming back.

I came after a review I read on Eater for FoPo area eats. I'm not a huge fried food fan but this place was good. I got the Steelhead trout fish and chips. Wait was ok they give you a buzzer so you can stroll around the food court. Took about 10 mins not bad. The locally sourced steelhead was a delicious surprise. Tender, juicy fish with crispy breading. Good seasoning. Fries were thicker so not as crispy but still hearty. 3 medium sized pieces of fish. They included ketchup for the fries as well as malt vinegar and tartar sauce for authentic fish dip. Wedge of lemon, too! All in a earth-friendly cardboard box. They take credit just fine. Very convenient location at Carts on Foster just down the street from where I was staying. So I walked back and enjoyed there. If you're staying you could probably cruise over to any local breweries or the bar cart for a beer to complement the fried food. Good time!!!

Homemade tortillas, the birria was beef but very well seasoned and juicy. The lengua has some nice crispy edges to the cubed meat. Overall cook on lengua was good. Anytime we go to the Mississippi Marketplace, I always get flautas at Mole Mole. They are a feast for the eyes and palate. These are the best flautas I've had so far in the area. The staff is always friendly, the service is prompt, and orders come out quickly and are plated so beautifully they *must* be photographed every time. I'm a creature of habit so I could order flautas here forever, but I promised myself I would try the chile relleno next time we go. Wish me luck! We love the casual vibe. It's comfy, there's usually a place to sit, but it can get packed when the weather is good. The space is welcoming and offers opportunities to chat with others if you want. It's a great space that fosters community.

It was payday, my Friday, and my plans to make spaghetti carbonara were foiled by frozen bacon (…read moreoops) and a mountain of dirty dishes ( not. my. job.) and my freakin' exhaustion. Teen wanted boba, and we decided to order Mediterranean from this place which also strangely sells boba. Yes, I rewarded the chore avoidance. Sue me. I worked four tens, all week my mental health clients were stressed and distressed, and I was honestly a lump. We both ordered a Moroccan stewed chicken that comes with saffron rice, salad, and three spicy sauces - one yogurt and maybe sumac? , one sriracha, and one yogurt mixed with sriracha maybe? We liked the rice, chicken, salad, and the yogurt sauce. Just ok though. Not omg good. I wish the two other sauces had been in separate containers and not on the rice. My mint and honey tea was fine. Kid's boba was not full. Not because it spilled either, because it was sealed with the boba seal lid thingy. For $6 that was disappointing. The hummus and dolmades plate came with one sad not good pita, ONE, and I think our Uber eats driver flung it out the window like kids used to deliver newspapers from their bikes because yogurt sauce was freaking everywhere. The hummus was not great. Teen ( the dolmades fan) said the grape leaves were good. Probably not a repeat in store. One and done.

Ok. Ordered a chicken gyro for $14 then he charged me $15.40. When I asked what the extra $1.40…read more was for he said it was a fee for using my card. The gyro was 2 out 5. Very dishonest food cart.
