You can get a train from here into Kent and also to central London via Greenwich and Bexley lines - which is quite cool. There is also a little shop which used to be in the station and which I believe will be moving back in when the station is finished. I do miss not being able to use my Oyster here, and because it is outside the Oyster zone tickets are quite expensive. I also don't like the fact I can't top my oyster up here - yes I know I can't use it, but what if I want to check my balance etc!

There's almost always some literature about things to see and do in the area at the counters. Do pick up the Kent 2for1 offer booklet if you plan to visit any of the main sites in the area. The station does have 2 exits. So be sure you know which exit you need to get out of. As far as I understand, taxis only come to one of the sides, if you call them to pick you up, otherwise it's more of a place to park your car while picking or dropping someone.

It has a much nicer atmosphere in the mornings as they've added a cafe car onto the London bound platform. It's a pretty relaxed place all-in-all and the barriers are often open on the Kent bound platform (if that's your thing). Around the station there's a great selection of small shops including a top-rate florist and an iPhone repair place, so if you need to apologise for being so late home (due to southeastern railways sloppy train times) you're covered. Likewise when you throw your phone in frustration, you don't have to go far for a repair. All in all a good little station in a great commuter location.

There is a small coffee shop on the London side, although I haven't got a drink from here in years. There is two ticket machines outside, and they both top up your Oyster card too. I find that the staff can be helpful depending on who serves you, but I normally just buy my ticket from the machine. It is exactly what it says it is - a train station!

I purchased wrong ticket by error and got penalty fine (I had booked/paid for another ticket and…read morethough this was the ticket - got mixed up with them both. Either way I now can seperate the two event and what happened the assistant (black lady with curly hair) was more interested in counting money than helping get ticket and when asking her for train to my destination I had to get her attention twice. When I got her attention she gave me the platform number she didn't look happy I disrupted her (still counting money).

Only reason I give this station 3 stars is because the staff can be rude, toilets not always open & not very clean, don't always turn heaters on in wait rooms and there are no ticket barriers so people get away without paying this is why I think they have police there at very regular intervals throughout week.

Booked an arrival and return pick-up, for a total of 98 British Pounds. Not bad at all for a two way ride! ( A Black Cab will cost over 100 Pounds one-way from the airport) My driver called my cell phone at pre-arranged time, upon landing at Heathrow. He greeted us at the arrival exit, with a placard with my full name on it. The driver was very courteous and helpful with our luggage to the car. Bottles of waters are available in the car. On our return trip to the airport, the assigned driver arrived at the hotel early for pick-up and gave me a call. No stress and no-frills impeccable service! Highly recommended for travelers arriving in London with spouse/family and a lot of luggage! I cant imagine people travelling any other way!

I can always get through on their phone line and the waits are never very long for taxis. The drivers I have had for the past year have always been very friendly and I have always felt very safe in their cars. I wouldn't hesitate in using them late at night or being in the car on my own. The cars are always clean and presentable. I have never ordered a car and the car not already been there waiting for me.
