Inside however, the seats are comfy enough, there are plenty of people to help you find your seat on match day and the apparent security makes you feel rather safe. What really made the difference for me was what was outside the stadium so it was more than going to watch a rugby match. There was a few bars and a range of food stalls to cater for all your needs. Also there was a stage with bands playing and that made the ambience quite festive. I would have thought it was just for before the match but I was wrong - it kept on going post match which was great to manage the crowd so you don't have to all go and pile up at the nearest tube stations straight after the match. Pro tip: if you are a woman, you know that the queues to the toilets at half time and post match in the stadium are going to be long - so go to the outside toilets past the stage, no queue there, well worth the 1 minutes extra walk!

The stadium is great, everything you want in a European Futbol stadium. The shape, the size and the massive crowds. Getting a drink was pretty easy and the sound in here was amazing. Again, did I feel safe? Not really! Hooligans abound and once off the train which was about a 10-15 minute walk through the neighborhood we were offered Cocaine and other drugs. Apparently this isn't the safest neighborhood either, that said massive crowds all walking the same place felt pretty safe. Oh and if you want to score coke of a plug in a foreign neighborhood I wish you and most likely your fetanly laced purchase well. :) Buy a shirt, support who you are seeing and if you want to catch a train leave early. We waited quite a long time to get back to the city (HydePark) area for a train once the event was over. London, I love you and will see you again very very soon....

After some time guzzling pitchers of Pimms Cup in the garden, we made our way inside for the show. Hats off to these performers. For the Friday evening Cabaret you have to book ahead which only cost £5 up to the last 2 weeks before which is when it goes up to £8 and you get to watch some weird and wonderful cabaret acts during the course of the evening. As far as the acts were concerned it was a bit hit and miss and I was expecting a few more. We had a hula hooper and a contortionist which was insane to watch!! An aerial hoop act which was impressive but quite short, a juggler who probably didn't need to be there and the finale .... Rayguns Look Real Enough who were a comedy music mashup duo who were fabulous!! Highlight of the evening! As a while though I think the acts were a but hit and miss and unfortunately the compere wasn't going down too well either!! Oh well!! But the evening was incredibly fun and once they cleared away the stage it turned into a dance floor and the DJ played an array of hits from 50's through to today with a lot of emphasis on 80's and 90's hits which were great to sing and dance along to. Before the show started we did have a table so we could eat food and there was your usual selection of burgers and salads etc. I went for the veggie falafel burger and to be honest it was extremely bland and needed a hell of a lot more tzatiki and condiments to improve it's flavour! It's great that I was subjected to the usual fried vegetable burger and there was a mushroom risotto on the menu but the burger definitely needed more flavour. It was a bit more like mushed falafel and falafel needs to be a little more grainy I think!! The chips were good though, hand cut, crispy edges and soft in the middle - mmm!! As for drinks they do have a selection of ales on tap, some local, a porter and a stout that were exciting some and all the other usual things a pub can offer. Price wise I think it was pretty reasonable. All in all we did have a great evening and I probably would go again. The place is new so it is probably still getting it's sea legs a little but do pop down for an alternative evening of circus acts and then fun music to dance the night away to - we stayed so late it was a night bus home!! Always a good sign!! Xyz

If I'd known about that in advance I would have never come as I never developed skills to ice skate having lived all my life in California. Normally I would not pay money to see a museums in London as all the big government funded museums for the public are free of charge for entry. However we were walking down the embankment area next to the Thames and came across free public bathrooms something unheard of in Europe. The bathrooms were connected to a restaurant which was part of the somerset house. Wife and I feeling relieved gladly paid the money for the entry fee. Several buildings with paintings and photographs from around the world both of people and of animals in their natural setting. Looked like a series of pictures from covers of national geographic magazines. Ended up paying 30 GBP or $39 for two entries, an expensive public bathroom visit.

The show was very fun, but what I didn't expect is how cool this place was. It's like a beer garden with several different booths offering sweets, cocktails, beer and food. We found a lovely picnic table under a large tree, relaxed and enjoyed a couple cocktails before the show. People were everywhere sitting on the fake lawns, packed to tables and all having a pretty good time. They also had pretty decent restrooms for an event venue that is open to the public. It's not so much a market as a converted car park with food stalls, beer gardens, dance floors, loos (loos!) and ample space to breathe. It's like a festival open every weekend. I like! I've been twice so far since it opened 5th June and have enjoyed a chicken sandwich from Butchies and a pulled pork sandwich from Bare Bones Cue. Both quite good and a step up from my usual fare on a Friday night! Great craft beer selection, higher end cocktails than you'd expect (I had some sort of champagne cooler with real blackberries in it -- these hipsters are fancy, ok?), and overall the vibe is pretty chill. They (like EVERYONE in the world) were broadcasting World Cup in the big beer garden as well. If/when the weather cooperates and you are out and about in Shoreditch this is surely worth a stop in for a few drinks in the open air and to people watch. *Open 5pm-midnight Wednesday-Saturday. *Cash only. *Great people watching.

They have cocktails starting from £6.50, which is pretty decent for this area as well as some other delights that would make Del Boy Trotter do a happy little dance. What's so great about this place? There is so much room! Loads of seats in the sunshine and even a little bit of shade by the bar for us fair skinned freaks. There is a mixture of old sofas and chairs with an array of attractive east London twats lolling on them. There are also surprisingly clean port-a-bogs although only one which might be a dilemma come Friday night drinking. As for food, there is a small dining area supported by The Disappearing Restaurant/Dinners people. Apparently you can contact them and array to have a private party here in a little gated off area. At the Royal Mews, you can see all of them all at once, parked, and up close. I was curious about the name "Mews" and it turns out this was where the royal hawks used to be kept as they "mewed" meaning moulted their feathers, a time when they couldn't be used for hunting. The place itself is relatively small. However, they try to inform you as much as possible as to what you're looking at with both signs and a free audio tour. And even if you don't really pay that much attention to all that info, the craftsmanship of the carriages themselves are amazing to look at. In addition, when we went we saw a few horses in the stables, a couple of which were being prepared for the police. We went on a rainy Friday morning in late summer and even though I bought tickets ahead of time to be safe, when we arrived there was no wait and we walked straight in. I also saw a small group of people join a tour with a docent, but even without one, we still enjoyed the tour.
